Add rain sense on 2025 flash

I had a conversation with Infotainment and they said that rain sense on the 2024/25 is in the works but not ready for sale.
I’m curious if anyone has done the job with the new model year and if so did you need to wire a harness or have they restored the LIN and power to the connector behind the mirror?

I was told the newer stalk with or without the “a” would work but have heard others say no power at the rain sensor connector.

Don't know about the 2025 but 100% works on my 2024 flash. @Jesse-Infotainment can help you here.

It’s the automatic wipers that sense when there is water on the windshield. Pro, XLT and Flash trims don’t have this feature.
This is the kit I installed on my 24 Flash without issue. It’s been working great without issue since December 2024.

The kit comes with a programming dongle (it’s pictured in the kit photos), once you have it installed you’ll put it into the obd port and it’ll do the programming for you. They also want you to rent a iPad to do some remote connection. I didn’t do this and they email me to remind me this is a step, but like you I have forscan. I think maybe to verify that the dongle programs correctly? But you can find the forscan codes here which is what I had done.

Before you buy the harness I would probably make sure they still haven't just left the plug there clipped into place above the mirror.

I only needed to buy the sensor and do a couple changes in Forscan.

Agree.

This was the first upgrade I made to my Pro. Just bought the sensor for like $30 (at that time) and made four changes using FORScan. Can't believe that this doesn't come standard on the Flash.

Yes and it seems they needed the harness too. I am calling Jesse at Infotainment today to see if I can buy the sensor and the harness only.

Gotcha, I misunderstood. Yes rain sensing wipers were deleted on XLT after 2023. And yes, the existence of wiring to help in after-market installs is somewhat variable.
