49% — > 45% (climatized for about 15mins before departing)
Your 2022 Lightning SR lost ~4% of 98 kWh {3.92 kWh} while sitting cold soaking at mid-point of the days journey while warming for the return trip.

Your PTC consumes ~8KWH run full blast for 60 minutes, but the reality is that it tapers after about 7 to 8 minutes into the process, so it's likely the battery only lost 1.5 to 2.5 KWH of energy in 15 minutes of remote climate conditioning status {~2 kWh}

The remaining reduction is SOC was due to reduced efficiency/capacity of the cold soaked battery that @Aminorjourney mentioned.

Random side note: I read that the temperature gauges at the top of the cluster are connected to actual sensors. Ford doesn't use a derived value, they are actually measuring battery (and I assume motor) temperatures via sensors. I think that's pretty cool.

Yeah, I'm seeing it now. It's my commuter so now I have a little more data on suburb driving. I'm averaging about 2.4mi/kwh for my daily commutes with the regenerative breaking helping a ton. I barely use up 2% of battery going 6 miles one way. Today I was at 2.8mi/kwh and just barely used 1% of the battery, it was fluctuating between 91% --> 90% going that same 6 miles.

What are people averaging in the summer? I have a summer trip planned to the outer banks, 184 miles from where I'm at. With a Standard Range, I feel I can get there without charging on the way. What speed and interior climate conditions should I set for max range, assuming 80deg exterior temps?
