I had BlueCruise (up to 1.2 eventually) on my 2022 Mach E. I don't have it on my XLT 312A, by my choice because after living through cold Winters with the Mach E's panoramic glass roof, I refused to buy another EV with a glass roof, and all Lightnings with solid roofs also lacked BlueCruise.

I did use BlueCruise on the Mach E. Now, for the past 89k miles on the XLT, I don't miss it... not with all the other safety systems on my XLT which are close to 80% or so of BlueCruise's full functionality. I certainly would not pay for it after the free trial period.

In my eyes, having used it for many thousands of miles on the Mach E, BlueCruise is a "nice, interesting, not a critically necessary" feature.
My lightning lariat has a solid roof and blue cruise ..2022 510 std range . I have another 2 years free yet it works good but still on 1.0

Coming from owning a Tesla and using FSD, BC is an embarrassment.

When my year of BC expires I won't be renewing. Where I live there aren't enough roads that it works on so it's not worth it. With that being said has anyone tried calling Ford and asking for a reduced price. Like the old days when direct tv kept going up if you called to cancel they would always give you a discount. Same with seriusXM. Surely it's better for them to get something from you than nothing.

I'm complete apposite, i cant see not using it. I put 20000 miles on my23 last year and i swear 18000 miles were under BC and that was 1.0 when 1.4 hit i was ecstatic . i drive 100 miles a day 50 to work and 50 home almost all on the freeway.. works perfect every time!! i have a few years left on my subscription so i will probably purchase an extended year hopefully it will be priced accordingly.

Agreed. but a completely different animal. FSD is intended (as I understand it) to completely navigate and drive from start to destination. BC is lane keeping and speed control - nothing more.

I like BC quite a bit, but $50/mo is just too expensive. When Ford dropped the price to $30/mo for last November and December, I bought it, but canceled as soon as the price went back up.

Like many, it doesn't work on any roads that I normally use. Just yesterday, I was coming back from an appt and deliberately took a slightly longer route back JUST so I could actually use BC. I discovered that I now have the lane change after blinker function. Nice to have. However, once my free period runs out, I'm out. I can see getting a month for a trip or something, but that's it. $50 a month is too much, especially for something that I can't hardly ever use.

I use BC very rarely. They gave me 3 months when I purchased the truck in August, then another 3 in autumn. I'm done this month. Not planning on paying for it. I'd love to invest in the Comma.AI and BluePilot, but I can't seem to get any confirmation that it will work with my 2024 Lariat. I'm really interested to see how their "GasGating" works. I hate when cars get in front of me and the truck slams on the brakes and when they move out of my lane, the truck takes off like a rocket. The Comma.AI website says only F150 thru 2023. It does not specify the Lightning at all, and apparently the encryption that Ford added in 2024 was for ICE f150s and didn't come to the lightning until 2025. I'm not being a guinea pig as I will never get it all set up and running before the return window closes.

Still not encrypted on the 2025s. Your 2024 will work just fine with comma ai/blue pilot. A fair amount of people on here (and there are a few people on reddit i think as well) have a 2024 lightning with comma ai without issues.

I'd rather they actually say that on their website. If it were a bit less than a $1000 investment, I'd jump in, but $1000+ is where I'm Right now it's:

Not going to argue with you.

I don't even have comma or a 2024 and I know it works from reading various threads.

I hate to be "that guy"...but seriously search it.

Honestly,it took me all of five minutes to find this 2025: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/comma-ai-self-driver-assistant.18266/post-643197

And literally posted yesterday of why just those model years: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/comma-ai-self-driver-assistant.18266/post-644993

I don't mind asking about things but being obstinate prior to a cursory search is just frustrating.
