I just wanted to briefly comment on this. I had tons of issues with the AC at first with my 2024 lightning. I had try a ton of long USB C cables until I found one that worked. Eventually I got it worked out. I’m now currently using the one out of the F150 kit that comma sent once I got the new coupler. But that did not work prior to that. Another thing to note is that the couple that comes in the quick release dock will not allow my AC to work at all. I’ve always had to bypass it going directly into the comma.
For clarity, you are saying you had the issue even with the lightning coupler (with the resistor) until you replaced your cabling?

I had issues up until you sent me the beta coupler. Ever since then I’ve been fine.

Before then I had to try multiple USB C cables until I found one that made the AC work.

Now with either the Beta coupler or the final new coupler any of the longer USB C cables I have work just fine.

I kinda had a feeling it may be related to the wiring. The only thing that should have effected it was the resistance from the OBD port. The 23's have 120 ohms as a standard termination, which makes sense electrically. It wouldnt have made sense for ford to change that.

I appreciate the information. I will see if the ones still having the issue can change out their cables and see if it resolves.

I'm amazed yours hasn't been delivered yet. I can look into a replacement if there still isn't any movement this coming week.
Shipment is still MIA.

What's the chance you can 2-day air me a replacement? I would even be willing to pay for the upgraded shipping.

The 'missing mail' thing def takes a day or two to get going, you'll know when you track it normally and see 'Missing Mail Request Initiated" or something like that as the latest status line.

It does already. I checked on it to see if it had moved. Seems to have gotten lost at the first distribution center when all the others made it through awhile ago.

Once they tack that on to the status I've usually received it about 3-4 days later after it hops between random distribution centers that are nowhere near me.

It's amazing how often I've needed to use this in the past 6-12 months.

I planned on using ups, but it was a lot more unpredictable compared to usps based on location. Either way, im surprised only one has been lost so far. Not a big deal to replace it.

Usually a bad connection somewhere. Does it continue after reboot?

I haven't tried yet - I will try tonight. If it fails I may need to order a stock harness and hit you up for a a resistor :) This is using a modified harness.

I have heard of a decent amount if intermittent issues with the modified harness. I dont have much experience with them personally, so I cant say for sure.

You can always try a different usb C cable before you spend the extra for a new harness, but it would be odd for a USB C cable to suddenly go out unless its under a lot of stress.
