Seems it decided to rain while I as on my way to the UPS store. I think the wipers are working correctly, but can't tell if we still need to select the speed at which we want them to swipe or should that be controlled by the sensor? Otherwise the wipers stopped wiping when the windshield was dry or I was stopped and then continued once I got moving again.

My '04 Volvo would handle everything on it's own so I'm used to that auto feature.

The amount of drops you select does affect the time between wipes during the automation.

Still haven’t seen a “no option” Pro have success at this yet! I wonder what the difference is? The harness is there…the option shows up on my screen..but no dice! Very interesting. Since I have Pro Power, the determining factor must be in the Max Tow or Tow Tech. Odd.

I see the "Battery Target State of Charge" in the BdyCM module. Mine is set to 80%. I don't have any charge limits that are at 80%. I set all mine to 90%. Could this be where Ford derates the battery?

All the other settings in BdyCM seem to be Manufacturer only configurable. That's what makes me thing this is where Ford derates.

I just traded in a 510A for a 511A, wish I had tried changing this on the 510A before I traded it in to see what the range is. I was thinking a safe test might be to set it to 50%, then charge to full and see what happens to the range. Anyone have any knowledge about this setting?

The answer is no. Both batteries have between 9% and 10% in reserve.

It's all in the Owners Manual. With rain-sensing off, the rotary control is the standard intermittent setting. WIth rain-sensing on, it is the rain sensitivity, i.e., how much water triggers a wipe action.

To be honest I hadn't thought to look at the owners manual for it, so thanks for the exact page. Makes sense...I had just assumed it was an "auto" setting. Good to know it's a sensitivity thing.

I place it at first "drop" setting all the time. When its dry nothing happen. When it rains they start to wipe, if rain is light the interval is long if its a down pour the interval is short or continuous but it constantly adjusts the interval with conditions with no interaction from me.

It is the 12v battery.

Has anyone tried the "reverse tilt mirrors" from the old 2015-2020 ICE FORScan google doc? I had this setting on my 2016 and 2018 F150s and it was a game-changer for parking along curbs.

I tried several months ago, with no luck. Not a big deal, just reversed all my changes.

My current workaround is I have my driver-side mirror reverse tilt saved in memory #2 and passenger side saved to memory #3. Not ideal, but it's better than nothing, I suppose.

I'm guessing this is just bad software and control from Ford. I have a Lariat, so I have the sensing wipers built in and mine do this on occasion. Truly I turn my sensing wipers off on the stalk if it isn't rainy out just to prevent this. When rainy I turn them to auto and let them do their thing, they are pretty good at it. When sunny, I turn them off.

I think to get the rain sensing wipers in the Lariat you had to get the 511a package not sure I didn’t build mine. I have the 510a and didn’t have them.

I also tried the reverse tilt mirrors. They do tilt but do not stop at the bottom of the range they keep going and start clicking. I read on a machE forum you have to set where you want them to stop but that didn’t work either.

Any idea what these capped connections are for? they are located just in front of rear bumper by the spare tire. Maybe a new project?
