Ford must have unhappy dealers. They are really pushing servicing, both in the app and in constant e-mails I get urging me to get service, dealer deals, etc. When I updated to FP 6.3, I was offered to have a dealer automatically schedule servicing for me when the truck tells the dealer it's time.

Received the update this afternoon, I noticed the Departure Time function was moved from the Energy tab to Vehicle, more convenient IMHO.

The Service tab details are helpful, noticed the recommendation to "Change" the brake fluid at three years, this is under the 30,000 mile interval which it thinks I'll hit in February of 2026, not sure the projection is on point, we'll see, at the moment I'm at 27,699.

I just received this update on my Android device as well. I now have the option for Pro Power Onboard under the Trailer Light Check option in the Utility section of the Vehicle (first) tab. That option was not there this morning when I was still on 6.2.

Well I am just about to install but today I got this error when I went to turn on the bed outlets to complete the once a month ground fault test. So even if the pro power option shows up, I have bigger issues to tend to.

Edit: No pro power option, no message under alerts and eventually this warning showed up in the app messages.

It does appear there was some font changes in 6.3.

This is crazy. Going on year 4 with this truck and we are still working on things that were advertised to us during the announcement in 2021. What have engineers been doing???

Maybe the first time I've noticed it, but BLUE is back to the FP iOS home screen icon in v6.3

I find it almost mind boggling that different people have different results with the same software version. For whatever it's worth, I got 6.3.0 on my Android a day or two ago and did not have the PPO option on either 6.2.0 or 6.3.0. And at least on the Android, the main phone screen has the Ford Icon as a round black background.

Did you try turning your screen brightness all the way up? Your icon looks deep blue to me on my OLED LG C4 TV "computer monitor." On iOS 26, especially in Dark Mode, the blue in my FP icon almost looks black, but with the screen brightness maxed out, one can see it's just a very deep shade of blue. IMHO, choosing a blue more like the color of the physical icons on our trucks would have looked better, but maybe a blue that's almost black goes better with just about any screen background color...

Trying to catch up with Chinese ev technology which is sad to say, even Farley states we're 25 years behind.

His icon looks identical to mine, navy blue. (Dark blue)

Let me guess, you're on iOS?
On your home screen, look at the black in the Ford Charge Station Pro Setup app icon vs. the Ford(Pass) app to its left. The FCSP app has a true black in the lower center, and you'll see your Android FP icon has a deep, deep blue color to it.

As I pointed out in my previous post, true navy blue is a bit lighter, I think, than the iOS color appearance. Here's one definition and the provided color looks more like the color on our trucks.
Ford F-150 Lightning Ford app 6.3.0 update iOS & Android 1765404663162-o0

I asked ChatGPT to analyze the blue background color in the screenshot I provided above of the FP icon and it says that the background is an almost black blue. The Android FP is perhaps even darker, but it's still a very dark blue.
How it compares to “navy blue”
  • Common “navy blue” (web/design convention):
    • Typically around RGB (0, 0, 128) or similar
    • Hex examples: #000080, #1B2A4E, #223A5E
  • FordPass background (≈ #222E43):
    • Significantly darker, closer to near-black blue
    • More muted, less saturated, and lower luminance than standard navy
Visually, it reads as:
  • Very dark midnight blue
  • Blue-black
  • Charcoal blue
Calling it “navy” would undersell how dark it is.

I'll take your word on it, but it looks the same color as the black in the FCSP icon in the image I posted. However, I took the original image (not the shrunk version I posted), and moved things around, and blew it up 400% on my screen (not what I'm posting here) and especially when compared to the Starlink icon near the top, it is obviously a REALLY dark blue - FAR darker than the iOS version you posted). The upper left is the Ford icon, the lower left is the Starlink icon and the right half is the FCSP icon.
