Help requested - Audio not working. Update - truck is dead

Got your message, but I'll post the response here for the sake of the info being out there. It does not seem like your issue will be fixed by a simple reset; not sure.....maybe @Jesse-Infotainment can chime in. The truck is reporting these codes relevant to your issue:

Hard to say if the DSP itself took a crap or if the APIM is the issue, but seems like the APIM itself has an issue.

I can check the DTCs when I get home on AllData. Is this from FDRS?

Any chance those buttons on the steering wheel have gone bad or causing issues? The experts have weighed in, but that is the fist thing that hit me when you described the problem about BC too. I know they've got codes and other data to go on.

Also check behind the back seat. Pull the cover off and check connections to amp. I had a similar issue and found the usb connection came apart causing no audio

So...my whole truck just died on the drive home. It fai d to charge at a slow charger and when I tried to start it I got the stop safely now message. Could I have a dead / dying 12v.

With the previous DTCs, I would guesstimate that u have an open circuit somewhere causing a parasitic draw. Also may have a rodent issue with noticing more & more things not working. Just my .02

Looks like about 3years on the truck so suspecting the AGM battery is not a bad guess.

With the way the Ford algorithm for maintaining the 12V battery is programmed that would not be surprising, just doesn't work to keep the battery healthy the way it should.

Try jumping it at the jump terminals under the Frunk passenger's side cover and see if things start working again. If you attach to the battery use the blue circles in this pic, not the red X's:

Hope your still have the 3 years B-to-B warranty if it's the battery.

Seems like a trickle charger would be a good investment with these trucks.

If Ford is as frugal as Mercedes (wifes car) they won't, (with respect to the 12v LVB), other issues should be covered.

Still waiting on that tow. 3.5 hours since I called Ford. Gotta love the promptness. In the meantime my wife was able to Uber to the airport, get a rental F159, driver back to us and we transferred everything over. We finished that 45 mins ago....
