How to stop horn beep with walk away locks.

Now that we have WAL, I searched “How to stop horn beep with walk away lock” and got no results.
Does anyone have the cliff notes to doing this?

That's very helpful but why would you want too?
There are times when wal doesn't work and now you have no notification that it's locked.

For me it's critical as the entire truck is a work truck..

I set my mirrors to fold on lock so I just look to see that they did indeed fold.

Plus you get a message that the vehicle locked through the Ford Passapp.

Unfortunately I don't have folding mirrors on my Flash. But I do tend to fold in the driver's side when parked on the street.

As far as a notification on Ford pass, does it show up and show the state of the door?
There are times I just double check by asking it too lock.
But is there a way to check it's current state of locked or unlocked?

It isn’t actually in FordPass it comes as a notification on my iPhone. So that might be a misnomer.

The notification comes as a result of PaaK. If you don't have it, then you get no notification.

No, there is no way to check locked status.

Thanks. Horn honking is really annoying.... to everybody.

Lock status will show in the app if you use the app to lock it. It'll pop up and say it's locked.

For all the other beeps the truck makes, it would have been nice to have the lock notification be a beep as well instead of a honk. Seems like most the other manufactures have figured that out on lock notification, not sure why Ford hasn't figured that one out yet.
