Is there really a need to rotate tires if tread wear is symmetrical?

and I doubt our maintenance schedule is specific to the Lightning so should be read with appropriate levels of salt.

Likely true, since I was reading recommended ride-height measuring procedure - and the manual says to be sure the 'tank is half full of fuel' - so I drove it around until the SOC was 50% LOL

Another great reason to pull the wheels, knock of the rust that will build up between the rotor & wheel, in years gone by I've had them seize up.

Dealer just rotated the tires front to back and vice versa, keeping tires on same side. So much for paying attention to the recommended rotation in the owner's guide! Do I want to tell them how to do their job, or let it go and see what happens next time?
