sigh, That didn't look fun to track the rail stuff, but might be forced to resort to taking a closer look at that. Any ProTips to share about the process?

Have your dealer look in VIN View for a railcar number then use one of the 800 lines to track your truck.

Mine was a Canadian National railways car and it hopped onto the UP line in IL.

Once the UP line was used, it was easy to call and get an automated message on progress each day.
Some days there was nothing to report and will say it could not locate the railcar.
Other days, it was full of info.
When it landed in Mira Loma, it said "Unloaded at Rail Depot Industry"....

That's when a truck convoy will pick up your truck and deliver to your dealer.

The lazy way would be to have your dealer send you updates on their VIN View screen..

My window sticker says convoy, but my truck will be shipped to California. Is this a mistake? Could it change once my truck is built?
99.98% of window stickers show convoy, how it actually moves is based on reasonable proximity to Dearborn, 300-400 miles appears to be the limit they will schedule a convoy 18-wheeler to deliver trucks within that radius of the factory.

All other trucks a loaded on rail cars heading in various directions:
  • north to Canada,
  • west to Illinois for transfer to upper plains, west coast and western gulf coast,
  • other runs head directly south of the factory to center / eastern gulf and (SE),
  • and finally looping around to Buffalo and eastbound and down to the Atlantic coast (NE).

To me it just looks like your modules and tear tag haven't populated yet. Mine showed up 2 days after my blend date.

It's obvious when modules populate. There are multiple pages. My modules populated first thing in the morning then my tear tag populated 2 hours later

BTW, It's odd that your 12/19 build date is not showing as "In Production" yet!
There is a white dot in the circle, but the action date is still blank!
I think you need to see that date before seeing the Service Modules data, check daily

BTW, the production line is 2-3 days behind schedule at this point

My window sticker link does work show a price that is different to my order. Is that normal?

Thank you so much for this thread. My dealership have never given me anything and if I ask they pretty much do talking and "I'll get back to you" rather than any action. This has allowed me to see that my truck has been blended on the 13th of Jan and has many BCE modules in it already so it's looking like it almost done and might be leaving the production line in a day or so if not already.

Next part would require the dealer to do something which I'll never make any progress with since they've been unwilling to do so far. I'll just wait for it to arrive and hope that they don't pull the usual dealer tricks.

What Does It Mean To Have Your Modules Pop (Populate)?

This is the procedure by a Ford Tech in which he/she loads the coding into your onboard controller (computer). The Number of Code Lines populated in a PCM only shows how many individual instructions are required to control all the features in a particular truck. A Pro will have many less lines than a Platinum. After the Module has "Popped" the Tech will print out a Tear Tag (Label) to be placed at various places in your truck.

The Tear Tag for the 2022 Ford Lightning consists of Three (3) Letters followed by a Digit. The Letters designate the Name of the Program sequenced to that Type of truck (including the options ordered) which will include all features that are controlled by a chip or chips. In other words a Pro will have a different set of letters than a fully loaded Platinum. The Digit denotes the Version Number of the original update.

Example: XLT SR CDM 8; XLT ER CBJ 8; Lariat ER CGV 8.

The Tear Tag become really important in the future so the truck can be programmed back to original condition.

Normally, the Tear Tag will post when you get your Built or Shipped email or sometime time after your Mod Pops.

It is normally the last thing done in the factory process before the truck rolls out the door. ;)
