Yes I also carry a portable power station when I bring these portable fridges now. Plug it into the 12v outlet on the battery, then use a USB c charger to charge up the battery. If I forget to turn on pro power the battery should still last for a while.

I figured I would update on how I solved my issue with PPOB shutting off.

Lasko 350CFM Mini Blower. Pulls just over 100 watts at the 3rd speed setting. Additionally, it cools the compartment and allows the fridge to run more efficiently in high temperatures.

When traveling the 2-1/2 hours between the house and the cabin I have this
38 qt powered cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N63CSH5 in the Frunk set to -4 degrees for transporting frozen foods.

I have this 59 qt powered cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NCZF438 in the truck bed under the tonneau cover set to 34 degrees for refrigerated foods.

We do this trip 2-3 times a month and it’s worked perfectly for us. We’ve never had ice cream melt. I plug them in the 120vac outlets. They take about 30 minutes to get down to operating temps.

When traveling with our Teslas I take the 59 qt in the rear hatch area plugged into the 12 v “cigarette outlet”.

Both coolers can be adjusted and temp monitored on iPhone via blue tooth.

They have been problem free for 1-1/2 years so far.

Now I just need the ideal 240v 30A Gen that will fit under the tonneau that I can charge the truck with so I can go out into the wild quiet places for a week or two at a time.

I'm doing this now but with a ecoflow Delta 2 in between the truck and the "ice" chest for ice cold drinks at any moment but The problem I'm running into is with the frunk closed the PPOB turns off and I get an alert from Ford pass saying I'm using more than 175 watts even tho the truck says I can only use 400 watts when I turn it on. Is there a setting or something I can do to get the PPOB to stay on while driving with the frunk closed?

I’ve seen several people suggest leaving the truck on to avoid PPOB shutting off due to low draw. I’ve had several occasions where I’ve sat in the truck while it’s on for 60-90 minutes while the kids are at practice. I always get the notification on the dash that says the truck will shut down unless I hit the OK button. I’ve never actually waited to see if the truck actually does shut down; I just hit OK. Is there a setting I can adjust to allow the truck to stay on?

I assume what you are describing is plugging the Ecoflow into the truck's 120v outlet and plugging the powered cooler into the Ecoflow.

Looking ta the Specs for a ecoflow Delta 2, it draws 1200 watts when charging on a 120VAC outlet. That by itself exceeds the current limit allowed with the Frunk closed.

My cooler works fine directly plugged into the truck's outlet with the frunk closed.

Yes this is how I have it set up. The Delta 2 has adjustable charge settings I have it set to 200 watts. With the fridge running the max the truck sees is 260.

Got it. It’s a nice feature that the ecoflow charge current can be adjusted.

According to Ford documentation the front outlets are limited to 400 watts when Frunk is closed. If this is accurate then 260 watts should not be enough to turn them off. I don’t know of any user setting that can adjust the limit. Sorry I couldn’t help.

Exactly! But as soon as it gets over 200ish Watts it turns off and an alert on the screen pops up saying it can't pull that much power and I get a notification from Ford pass that says you can't be more than 175 watts
