Have not heard this up to now, I had a non-inhibit update hit my truck while I was DCFC a couple years ago, actually it might have executed right after I unplugged and closed the port door & cover.Last night I spoke with a Ford tech about the lack of a Bluecruise update after 1.0. She provided the standard answer that the updates happen when they happen. But, she also told me that I hadn’t had ANY updates in several months and the likely reason is that I follow the ABC process pretty religiously each night and my scheduled OTA updates have either been scheduled for 1:00 AM or 3:00 AM. According to her, updates are not processed unless the vehicle is parked, completely off, and the charging door is closed. I’ve been following many of the ”lack of OTA update” threads and I don’t recall ever reading that the charge door must be closed to get updates. Anyone else get this info?
My last update according to the truck was 10.1.1 last October. FordPass had a different update listed before the update info disappeared.
In that situation I experienced the once in a blue moon IPC blackout for a few minutes, then it came back. This happened within 6 months of my first year.
More recently, I was AC charging in my garage, and another non-inhibit update processed mid day, it paused the charging session, and I had to resume the session via Fordpass.
