@galstaf some OTA's are ~STILL~ rolling out to older trucks which had been delayed for a few months, only GOD knows when you'll get them, IMHO if your truck is generally working, enjoy it for what it is, the update cycles aren't as predictable as Android or iPhones

Examples of recent revived activity.

Yes, my 2023 just got PU-SYNC-25.2.1.6.5 and then IPMA-24.204.10.9 over the last couple of days. Only a year +/- since release lol. Ford's update system is really something

Not sure which update enables the 500A charging, but due to recent cybersecurity changes, I can no longer check for pending module updates. I still have PTS access, but it was nerfed by Ford so I am not able to see everything I used to be able to see with my login.

However, anyone that buys the $28 PTS access will be able to see pending updates.
So, if i understand, getting PTS access is the only way to see what updates are needed to get 500A charging on one’s own vehicle?

It's the cheapest way to see what modules have pending updates. It's not going to tell you that you need x y z to get specific functionality though.

I never got the 10.3 update either for my SR.. However my charge speed improved during that general timeframe, and have a better curve. I get to 180 of so now. Because of this and some other things, I believe Ford often does unannounced updates. I "think" that is whyy setting periodically every back to default settings

I am not sure I buy it. I am specifically looking for the 500A charging, WAL and improvements on the Lane keeping.
I'm pretty sure I got that update quite a while ago, If you have car scanner see if this chart shows 500 amps, this snapshot is from a frigid night of charging at a Tesla V3 250 KW station with 90% utilization.

Yup. Need to pay attention to Charger Output Current (what the truck is receiving) and ChgOAR (what the truck is requesting). Good way to see if you're derated by the truck or charger.

FYI for the discussion in this thread about updates to the BCM, which now cannot be done DIY: I have been successful nudging my local dealer service techs (in a good dealership BTW) to update the BCM for me when I knew it had updates, and I then used this argument "pls help me as only a dealership can update the BCM because of the 2025 Ford security lockdowns for this key module". In both cases, the Dealer tech's update time, with their fast Bosch VCMII devices, took just 10 or 15 minutes... so their "labor cost" was negligible. I'm sure this dealership's service department also calculated that keeping me happy was to their long term advantage... not every dealership would think in this vein.

Hope this helps those here with a BCM that needs some update(s).
