Onboard scales/smart hitch removed on Lariat ER window sticker

Are all trucks having these removed or is it random? I've been looking into build week threads but nobody is posting window stickers.

I'm a 8-31 blend. Just curious.

So far it's been 2 or 3 people on this forum, per another thread. I asked again for all the lariat and platinum users for 8/15 blend and they stated it is not removed on theirs.

I have a 9/5 build week and it isn't showing the removal on my order page. Not sure if that means anything yet. Should get my window sticker in a couple week, then I will know for sure.

I have 17 sticker links for the 8/15 week, all that were configured for onboard scales and smart hitch still list them and no deletion credits noted

You can use taxman’s sheet and cut and paste vin to pull other window stickers. Easy-peasy.

Yup,looks to be default for now. I wonder if it will get added back at some point. Or maybe some random trucks will get it undeleted.
This is going to be a nightmare trying to search for a truck that has the scales in the used market in a few years.

Are they lariat and platinum trim? Maybe those are keeping it and then pro and XLT are getting deleted

I was a 8/27 to 9/5 and currently 9/12 (max tow, tow tech, SQM, lariat) my order page still has it listed.

You should be able to know as soon as you turn it on in the Sync screen of options or not.

Just the scale and hitch is how I read it (I would bet the smart hitch needs the scales to work, but I could be wrong).

The smart hitch requires the scales to calculate tongue weight so no scales = no smart hitch
