It seems I will not be lucky that the cause of my Service Soon warning is the shifter alignment. I have the SR Battery.

I took a short trip from Memphis to St Louis on 6/14 that began with charging my XLT to 95% using my GrizzlE 40 Amp Level 2 charger.
I stopped at a Flying J to use the GM Level 3 charger and successfully charged to 81% at 160 KW rate.
I stopped at a Chargepoint 125 KW charger and charged to 88%, but got the dreaded yellow wrench. Searched this forum and saw the messages about shifter alignment, 12V battery etc and hoped for the best.
I resumed my drive with no noticeable issues, but when I got to my destination and connected to a Level 2 home charger (48 Amp), the charge stopped at 67% instead of going to the targeted 90%.
I returned to Memphis, but had to stop repeatedly for DC charging that would not exceed 20 KW rates. Instead of the normal 2 stops, I did 4 - 3 at Chargepoint/Ameren systems and the final at the Flying J/GM unit. I was able to extend my range a bit by driving slower, but my normal 6 hour trip was now 10 hours for 240 miles.
Blue Mule goes into the shop tomorrow where I expect the bad news that 2 cells may have failed. This would explain the limitation of 63 to 67% charge limitation.

Update - I had to reschedule as my local dealership has a 2+ week waiting list to diagnose the issue. I'll take it to a dealership about 50 miles away that can start looking at it on Thursday. Hopefully I won't have to leave it as no loaner cars are available.

The chance of them fixing this while you wait is minimal. It would be wise to arrange for alternate transportation while your truck is in the shop.

I'm going to see if they can diagnose it and let me drive it while they wait for parts - if I have to arrange for a vehicle, I'll decide then. Since I'm retired, I don't need it full time.

Update - I had a successful visit with the service department at Bolivar Ford where they diagnosed the issue with the control module for one of the battery modules (number 2). It will take 10 +/- days to get the part and then I'll schedule the next service date for its installation. I can continue operating the vehicle until then, but with the limited range. I'll update when I get it fixed.

Good news that you can still drive it with limited range. No need for a loaner or rental..

Charged to 60% (level 2 / set target) without triggering amber wrench. I can use around town with 130 miles of range.

Good news that it wasn't more serious. Please post a scan of the work order if you can. I am interested in the "control module for one of the battery modules".

I don't have the work order yet. If I see it, I will post it.

Took my truck into the Dealership today for getting this issue: It was a bad Coolant Diverter. Apparently, the truck also has a code for Air Dam Failure because I must have hit something while driving off-road in the desert. I need to take a look, I can't think of many instances where I was clipping anything with the truck but the real kicker is it's $1,166 to replace the Air Dam.

What's interesting is that between the two, I didn't have any issues moving back to Florida from California. 2,400 miles or so, most of it in the scorching heat, and all appeared to function normally. Luckily the diverter valve is under warranty, not sure what I'll do about the Air Dam but that's a lot of money for something that I at least want to see myself.

My truck ('23 SR XLT) had this happen today. I went to Quick Trip and when I came back out, the message was there, the orange wrench was on the dashboard, and I had a PowerTrain Malfunction message in the Ford App. Hopefully, it is the gear shift as that sounds like an easy fix.
