I have this symptoms of early outer threads wearing out faster than middle & inner portions on my 2022 lightnin ev but taught it was normal due to my bad habits of going fast on turns. I have learned however that it is a case of a positive camber alignment issue. I have truck aligned but results was opposite, a negative camber misalignment that is now "corrected". Shop can't get my alignment data from Vin #, so they used a same yr ice f150 crew cab references. Is F150 ev has the same alignment specs as ice? Appreciate any help.

Ffs, it's a completely different suspension in the back, get a new shop.

Also, if your wear is on both outer edges, it's under inflation, not alignment.

OP, do you have Hankook Dynapro's? Those tires are notorious for wearing on the outer edges.

Op have Ford do your alignment if the local shop can’t figure it out. You cannot use a normal F150 for alignment that’s a completely different suspension.

I run 42 psi on the Hankooks. Still a bit of wear on the inner and outer. A little toe will cause more tire wear than a lot of camber.

at 45 I think it will be too bouncy on our rough roads and not soak up the cracks in the asphalt. will try for one drive into town, about 2.5 hours each way. might just be all the curves here, the longest straight is 1/4 mile.

I run 47-48lbs, on the Hankooks not a problem at all, I like the firmness, handling and extra range you get at that tire pressure. My Lariat has 30,000km and the outer edges of the front tires are just about worn down to the warning tread mark. I do drive very aggressively. I did a tire rotation moved the back tires up to the front now. The Hankooks are not directional tires, therefore you can flip the tire around on the rim which I'm thinking to do soon as the Inside Edge is practically like new still.

I have torched my Hankooks. I’m gonna see what deals discount tire drops and switch to Michelin Defenders. 35k not very gentle miles on these…

There are 3 dozen curves a day for me one way and if I hit them hard say tire scrub-squeal level I could burn their outside tread in 15K miles. Rolling easier meant I got 40,000. But they were pretty worn and time to go. Otherwise safe & sane would’ve got me to 60K. I’d like the Mich Defs to last 60K so I’m rolling very easy.

43 psi late spring m- early fall. Winter at 36 psi.
