Woke up to email from Ford that my Pro has now shipped! ETA shows 1/24 - 1/30. Tracker indicates shipping via convoy. Any chance I might get surprised with an earlier arrival? Does convoy usually take 2+ weeks in transit?

My Pro also shipped this morning, got the emal from Ford at 4:30 AM. Who's your dealer? We're probably in the same rail car. It'll go to New York before final convoy to the dealer. From what I've seen most deliveries to MA or CT have taken 10-14 days.

Torrington. Sadly took forever to find a dealer that didn't want to rake me over the coals. At this point just happy to have actually gotten a Pro order through. There aren't many of us.

And since you're in the same situation, be cognizant of how your order is processed at the dealer. I'm actually currently talking with the CT DRS about our tax liability on the $7,000 PCO, per CT sales statute since it's not a rebate it shouldn't be taxable which should drop us into the 6.35% bracket instead of the 7.75% luxury bracket.

Good news, after sitting for a few days, it looks like truck is on the train now. Norfolk Southern TTGX985322. Sounds like it just left Melvindale from Ramp 58. For others who are curious, mine was listed as 'built' on Jan 31st, then showed shipped late 1/2 or early 1/3 (overnight) where it took a truck from Ramp 51 to Ramp 58 (rail ramp). 3 days later on 1/6 it departed at 11pm or earlier with no update since. At least I have a railcar to track, gives me an idea when I should clean my Ranger and get documents ready.

Reached out to Ford CS, truck is going convoy via Vehi-ship LLC, also provided me with a convoy number to follow up with. Delivery estimate is still 1/23-1/29. Will check with them Monday and see if they can give me status updates.

@rio I imagine yours is following suit.

Vehi-ship, in my case, was the company they used to relocate from Ramp 51 to the staging ramp to be loaded onto the train.

My truck was already sitting at Ramp 5M in New Boston, MI from 1/3 awaiting what I had presumed was a CSX rail transport, but only now were they able to provide a convoy number. I also doubt it would go convoy from a railyard but I wouldn't put it past Ford to do something that dumb. 5M really is just a glorified parking lot. Bet you I'll get a CSX car number on Monday.

Borrowed this from 12/12 for easier train tracking (Norfolk Southern). Where 8849 and 985322 are just put your train code. It auto dials for you so you don't have to keep typing. My truck is making its way through Ohio.

It looks like this thing is coming together. Wish they’d let me come pick it up from the factory to beat the tax deadline!

Update: Just checked with the Ford Chat and they gave me an ETA of January 16, 2023.

Last I spoke with my dealer they were looking into how both the PCO and cost adjustment would be applied. Still not entirely sure. Hoping they don't make me front the $5000 while they wait for the reimbursement from Ford, but I guess it won't be the end of the world if they do.

As for the DRS, I'm still waiting for a written response from them. Was really just trying to be proactive and understand if I'm going to be looking at another $1200 in taxes or not. They confirmed that the price adjustment rebates are taxable but didn't seem to comprehend Ford's PCO process. Cash coupons aren't taxable in CT and there's no distinction for auto vehicles. If I hear anything back I'll let you know.
