Would you prefer to have an onboard generator and no frunk or keep the frunk?

To my understanding, Ford may have already have a patent on a range extender for the F150L in the bed are there other out there that have patents that are closer to being really available?

I don't want to remove the front trunk, however I wouldn't mind if it was modular in some way. Like if you need the extra range, remove some stuff, and plug it in. If you don't, leave it as it.

I use the frunk all the time at stores such as walmart and the wild eyed looks and stares I get from people passing by says it all and I'm up by the front doors in the handicapped parking. :)

I actually didnt have a pre-concieved idea of how this poll would turn out, but given its one-sided result, I’d urge you to take it to management if possible.

I was road tripping today and actually chatted with two other lightning owners at superchargers about the cancellation, and the feeling was the same. Boiled down the feeling was: “are any BEV owners actually going to switch back to having an engine onboard? No f***ing way”.

I realize there are only 100k of us or so, but frankly, that 100k will probably (~90%+ according to the poll Today) end up at GM or Tesla or whoever is selling a BEV when they tire of their lightning, case closed.

Not too late to keep the BEV lightning as an option @Ford Motor Company

I'd run the same poll on the sister site and see what the opinion is of general ICE drivers, would they accept a EREV that doesn't have the Frunk as a feature? I suspect we would see a flip in the ratio.

The frunk is great. I use it all the time. Nice and sealed. I have a pro and don't "road trip" with it and when I tow it is my sons scout trailer and only like 50 miles away max; so my pro is perfect for my uses; I don't want to lose that trunk for the one or two times a year that I would need to make a big road trip.
