Seems that way. I’m trying to be patient but I like updates!
For me, patience is not a virtue. I was lucky enough to find a used Mongoose on ebay for $268 about two years ago. Then I ended up getting a second one for free due to a Fedex screw-up. Knowing what I know now, even paying full price is a small price to pay to get what you want, when you want it and not have to depend on Ford/dealers for updates, calibrations, diagnostics, etc.

Tesla doesn't go this far either, but it's just sad that Ford doesn't enhance their portal and show the SW updates sent to a truck. If they haven't been applied but are available for your truck, you should be able to check a box and have it pushed out or triggered again.

Wishful thinking right?

How can you find out what update the truck has?
If you're referring to OTAs you can hit the Check Updates button in the Sync setting menu to see what the last OTA you received was (hopefully it's not blank).

And if you want to know what version of Sync you have you can hit the General menu item and select About Sync and take note of the version number (980 is the latest). That should give you an idea to start with.

Assuming you don't delete the update messages on Fordpass goto:
Account > Message Center > pick the most recent "You're Rolling with the Latest" item > click Update Details

Sometimes this will show details other times it will bounce a generic web page. My most recent is for 6.1.0, but I know I received 6.2.0 nine days later but there was no message for it.

Thanks for this information - Looks like I have had no updates. My Product info looks out dated. How do you recommend I get this updated. Will try to call Ford Tech - but other suggestions appreciated

yeah I don't understand why they don't ship the trucks with the latest software... I picked mine up two weeks ago, 10/21 custom order so wasn't sitting on the lot, and have the same revision/version as you. Think I had seen somewhere not to expect to get any updates for a month or so.

Good morning, everyone. I'm new around here, and I apologize if I missed this earlier in the thread.

I have an XLT truck with the 12" APIM. Will it get the update that enables Apple Maps routing?

Yes you’ll get it eventually. The ford rollouts take about a month or two to start receiving.

So - can I assume that I am the only one that lost both the Ford voice Assistant and my Alexa integration after the 6.3.0 update applied? I don’t even get voice prompts from the built-in navigation anymore….

@Ford Motor Company - has anyone else reported this?

Your choices are wait for the fix OTA to come out or do a master reset. But that will wipe all your settings and PaaK. Not the end of the world but annoying

Yes, Mach-E owners have as well. So they stopped pushing that out as an OTA until it's sorted.

I have the latest Sync update but I have the voice prompts turned off, I don't use the Ford Assistant, and I dismissed Alexa last year. So I really didn't notice until somebody started talking about it.

Ok - was going to say “glad I am not alone” but instead - glad they have identified it as an issue and are working to correct and not pushing out the update any more.
