i just recalled we have at least wasted food from the fridge on at most 3 occasions that i can recall due to power outage.

i did not get the 9.6 kw onboard power. Would my 25' Flash be able to power a Samsung Bespoke fridge? curious to know, that way i know i can save food in the fridge when power outage comes our way again. TIA

Good bet. I can easily power my home refrigerator/freezer on my 2.2 KW Honda generator with plenty of room to spare for other stuff.

It should ! 2.2 kw's can provide similar current that a standard household 120 v circuit does.

We have a 3 door Bespoke and a two door bespoke. They are inverter driven and sip power. You should be fine.

Agree, although that circuit is actually 2.4 kW.

Look at the refrigerator manual. What does it say is the power requirement of the fridge?

However, you should test it before you need it. Run an extension cord, test it, and report back.

We run our travel trailer off the 7.2 no problem. The refrigerator is a minor part of the trailer's draw.

Thanks for the correction.

2.4 kWs at 120 volts is 20 amps (2400/120) . As I stated earlier this is equivalent to a typical household outlet.

A older standard refrigerator draws between 3-6 amps when the compressor is running. A newer energy efficient refrigerator draws between 1.25-3.3 amps.

The only concern would be the compressor‘s inrush (startup) current. While a typical gas generator can tolerate a small inrush current there‘s a very slight chance that it may be too much for the truck’s inverter, so checking it before it’s needed is wise.

All true but inverter based appliances have lower inrush current requirements. That's why our Pro Power can run our 5 ton Lennox variable AC unit but can't run our traditional compressor 4 ton unit. Pretty sure all the bespoke fridges have inverter compressors.

A quick search of the inter webs reveals:

"Inverter refrigerators generally have a lower startup current compared to traditional compressor refrigerators, especially when powered by an inverter. This is because inverter refrigerators use a variable-speed compressor that can gradually increase speed during startup, reducing the initial inrush current."

Definitely test it. Some electronics are picky about power from vehicle inverters.
Will do. But before i do, i better make sure my Wall charger is up and running :D. Its being installed right now.
