Anybody know what the torque is supposed to be?

Existing should be torqued to 25.8 lb.ft (35 Nm), replacements should be torqued to 46 lb.ft (63 Nm).Anybody know what the torque is supposed to be?
The nut was different? Did they add a cotter pin or make it a locknut?Mine was torqued properly. So they just replaced the nuts with a newer revision and brought it back to me. About 3 hours all in including the hour drive each way.
I did this when I was in the first recall batch. But you’ll still want to bring it to the dealer so they can clear your VIN from the recall and get that off your trucks record.Since many seem to not actually have a problem, is there any reason I can't just check if the nut is still there, put a torque wrench on it and check and if OK call it a day? Anyone know what the torque is supposed to be?
I will but if I have to drive it to the dealer I’d like to check the torque before I do! Do you know what it’s supposed to be?I did this when I was in the first recall batch. You may have missed @DuBignon answered the torque question above in post #17I will but if I have to drive it to the dealer I’d like to check the torque before I do! Do you know what it’s supposed to be?
When I read the recall instructions there was no mention of doing an alignment. If they change anything more than the nut, do they check/redo alignment as part of the recall?
That is the way I read it too. When I read the recall instructions there was no mention of doing an alignment.
I can imagine a situation- rare as it may seem- where someone does this but has some. Issue at some point later and is denied a warranty claiim/service or worse.Since many seem to not actually have a problem, is there any reason I can't just check if the nut is still there, put a torque wrench on it and check and if OK call it a day?
