Is there a place where one can find the "work shop" manual? To me, so far, any material, Ford has, on the truck appears to be closely held. So far, unable to get any tech advice from a Ford service at a dealership. Be good to know what the PTC heater even looks like, I do see where to lock out the HV with the safety wire. Or a diagram to figure out the flow. I see online a copy of the Mach E diagram.

You are not going to get it to provide motive power with anything short of dropping and opening the battery pack.

How do people transport a non-EV to a dealer if it is dead?

Even if you remove the module creating the isolation fault? (Not arguing for my own knowledge) I figured once the module that was internally shorted you could at least get back up for protection status

The fault is latched, would need some way to clear the code

this whole 'situation' reminds me of our travels in our diesel pusher Motorhome thru the Canadian Territories from Manitoba, thru BC, and into/around/out of ALASKA... taking a very interesting FERRY RIDE, with our Motorhome, across the waters, back in 2017 : Haines-Skagway Fast Ferry (HSFF)

This was interesting,
as they required me to BACK this huge motorhome DOWN the long ramp and INTO the belly of the SHIP... and, while that was slow, and eventually successful, the other end at Skagway was a slightly different story: the ship's ramp UP to the base of the dock was a little too angled for my Motorhome's lower edges to clear, requiring their personnel to hurry to try to build a makeshift extra 'ramp', of sorts... this really aggravated an off-road cycle touring group, who was, unfortunately, stuck behind me during this wait... we eventually cleared, every so slightly, and made it off, but not without several 'cheerios', if you know what I mean, from some of the riders...
like it was MY fault, or something!
Oh Well..

I get that you have a very unique situation, and yes, I'm sure Ford will try their best, but, alas, at some point, it IS true that when we decide to find unique places to live, and travel, we may have to take on some of the aggravation ourselves. You'll get it figured out, although it may take some time thawing out, before so... all is not lost.

When you get it solved, take a ride up to WHITTIER, a train sea port...yes, trains.
You'll need to go thru the 2 1/2 mile TRAIN TRACK TUNNEL to get there, and it's a BEAUTIFUL exit into Whittier when you do!
: )

"The Whittier Train Tunnel, officially the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, is a unique, 2.5-mile long, single-lane tunnel in Alaska that serves as the sole vehicle and rail connection to Whittier, sharing roadway and railroad tracks, alternating traffic flow with a sophisticated computerized system for cars and trains.

  • Dual-Use:
It's the longest combined highway-rail tunnel in North America, accommodating both vehicles (cars, buses, trucks) and the Alaska Railroad.
    • One-Lane System:
Cars and trains take turns using the single lane, managed by a computer system that prevents conflicts and ensures safety.
    • Engineering Marvel:
Built through solid rock, it features jet turbine fans and portal fans for ventilation, along with fire doors and safe houses, designed for extreme Alaskan conditions.

I wish I could help in some way..

If this were me.. I would disconnect the PTC heater. Its a HV module BUT I am fairly sure you could do it safely if you disable the HV system First.. All you need to do is disconnect the HV connector and leave it alone. If you have some way to take it up so it doesnt arc to something..

That would be the only way I see you getting moving for now. Isolation fualts will disable the battery for safety..

Now if anyone on here that knows better can tell me if Im completley wrong here..

Looking at the workshop manual the PTC heater is accessible.. under the frunk.
Kinda what I was hinting at, but I'd think that it would give the same or similar error, but given the circumstances it's prolly worth the hail mary.

Either up on a transport truck, or on a trailer hooked to a tow vehicle.
Looks like this is the only way to go. Then you will have to try and go after Ford to get them to reimburse the cost.

Weather is not, out fishing for crab, and it is 14 degrees and wind at 40 knots. Before I left town, we managed to push the truck into the garage, so the family could plow the driveway. The Ford relationship team is “working on it”, but they must not have considered what could happen with these trucks when you cannot physically get the truck to a dealer. My salesperson implied Ford would be able to work on the vehicle remotely.sounded good at the time, not so good now, when they tell me they aren’t allowed to.
