I speculate ..... that Ford's concern is that severely out-of-spec cells are at risk of major failure ie. going thermal, they don't want to accept the risk of that happening, so the whole module is scrapped.
I found out that my battery's state of health from the initial test was 95.5%. (Truck is a '23 Lariat ER, 38,000 miles). I'm assuming that number is at least slightly low due to the fact that cell #19 was reading 75.196% SOC and the rest of the cells in module 2 were reading around 82.8% SOC. I'm hoping I can see a new SOH test done after the module is replaced, I'll post what I find out.
