I'd like the fix to just let me choose the default mode I want and call it a day. Skip the prompts completely. Also maybe add a button to keep the Pro Power off completely until it's needed?

This! 1000x this. Tired of turning off pro power each trip and setting a default drive mode for good would be great.I'd like the fix to just let me choose the default mode I want and call it a day. It use to be like that until the last update I got. Now it's random.Since you have a 2025, it is sticky up to 4 hours. If truck is off more that 4 hours it prompts you. See here for Owners Manual excerpt.
For others, this is only for 2025's. Lots of other posts where folks want to enable it for earlier years. Start with the post I linked above. Spoiler Alert - so far it can't be done for earlier years.
For me, it's random, for a period of time (several weeks) it would almost always revert between 30seconds and 4 minutes, but then that changed. Are you sure it's random? From what I can tell, the gauges change but it never actually engages sport for me. You can verify it on your end with the throttle. Additionally, I just woke up so I can't recall why I actually think this, but I suspect it's a Forscan related thing.
Out of all the randomly timed switches, is there anyone without any Forscan mods?
For the record, mine is semi random timing. It's coming back to me a little, the switches in the interface would sometimes be greyed out, the most common of which would be 1PD, and at least twice switching manually from normal to sport from the main screen resulted in a switch back. I assumed that it was a forscan related bug but maybe its a module boot issue. Who the hell knows? For me, it's random, for a period of time (several weeks) it would almost always revert between 30seconds and 4 minutes, but then that changed.
No Forscan. No mods to my leased '24 Flash except a cap, stubby antenna, floor mats and seat covers. [nothing that would warrant any sort of software issue imposed by me].
I have not modified my Lightning in any way {YET} I'll test this next drive. Are you sure it's random? From what I can tell, the gauges change but it never actually engages sport for me. For me, the max gauge switchback time was around 5 minutes, but the accelerator/butt o meter combo clearly showed it was still in normal.I have not modified my Lightning in any way {YET} I'll test this next drive.
I'm still digging up further info, but from what I'm seeing it is a bug and should be fixed in an upcoming OTA.Yo-hey Brian/ @Ford Motor Company - What is the update with this issue/bug?
I'm disappointed that this has not been resolved yet and continues to get worse and worse; lately, I have been experiencing my F150L fall out of Sport mode 4/15/30/44 minutes after putting it/confirming it is in Sport mode whenever I first start up the truck and drive. Yesterday was the second time I had to toggle on one pedal drive just to get the truck to go back into Sport mode. (I then toggled 1PD off).
I don't think this is a hard issue to fix, I feel as if these issues/bugs aren't going to be addressed in a timely manner- if at all anymore....
What say you -Mr. Ford?
