1- your tripping 🤣

2- you and your friends must weigh over 800lbs maybe to slow the truck a little 🤣

3- didn’t mention your tripping?

Truck is still just as fast, go to a 1/8 or 1/4 mile track. You can do pass after pass until the battery get in the HOT range it will pull same time over and over again

lastly YOUR tripping 🤣

I floor my truck everywhere and it’s just as fast as with 26k miles as it did at 4 miles. I was not rude or disrespectful. I’m just saying you’re Trippin. ā€œYou feel your truck slowerā€

I hurt your feeling about saying your tripping thinking you can feel your car being slower a slight bit

Yikes America today 🤣

YOUR A TROLL bro
If you think the issue was in saying "your tripping" then that is part of the problem. And gaslighting the conversation to be about hurt feelings isnt any better. I dont know if its a sense of victory by marganilizing others or if its a lack of social skills but that was some childish garbage.

As far as accelerstion goes multiple members here have reported the same or similar.

I have not noticed any change.

On the Mach-E, Ford has remapped regen braking several times, but most were noted in the update notes.

No change here, I worry about the instant torque damaging the gears in the ev motor/gear when I stomp on it, it just reacts too quickly. I little gradual acceleration in the first 1/2 second would actually be welcomed, as I want (need) this thing to last since its over 36k miles lol

So I am "tripping" (drugged up) or physiologically halusinating that I was able to squeal my tires before and now I can't (that seems like a pretty cut and dry difference. that is not subjective). Many people have also reported this. I am very glad that you are not experiencing the same thing. Takes some kind of special person to scour the forums to tell people they are "tripping" when they don't experience the same thing. Do you say the same thing to those that need to get stuck on the side of the road and need their battery serviced too. I know I've never had to service my battery so I guess those people just don't know EV's or don't know how to drive and are tripping too.

Then when someone confronts you to say, you really shouldn't accuse people of "tripping", you call them a troll and say what has America come to if you can't take a little name calling. Wow... looked in a mirror lately.:ROFLMAO:

I did a fairly unscientific test on Oklahoma roads of my 0-60, and measured kW and motor torque via OBD2 scanner.

BLUF: My 2022 SR is accelerating 0-60 as fast as ever, ~4.6 seconds. I am also putting down 770 lb-ft of torque (Ford adversities 775), and battery was supplying 370 kW (Ford advertises 318 to the motors).

There is a potential for software learning I would suspect, but I also suspect that at least part of it could be that you are not using brand new tires anymore. The stock tires a what many dealerships call 'softies', which are super grippy and soft for extra performance and quiet ride, which make the vehicle easier to sell. If you had great acceleration on new tires, then they wear a bit, performance suffers a bit too..... NASCAR is a good example of this. Even if you do replace your tires, you likely won't use softies, thus changing your grip and performance with it, although they will likely last longer (something the dealership wouldn't care about).
Tires + Software learning = slight delay of sudden acceleration.

The truck may be just as fast as before, but the best way I'd describe it is that it requires more throttle input to get the same amount of power. It feels like the pedal has been detuned just a little.
For me it's not a problem, just a curiosity. I don't drive mine hard all the time any way.

OP, if there is someone you trust to drive the vehicle, get in the passenger seat.

I don't smash the accelerator from a standstill because I don't like that front end torque steer fight. If you don't have that, indeed your power is cut.

There is also a quick power drop out at around 70 to 80mph and it is a reminiscent feeling of a transmission finally changing a held gear at high RPM.

The only time I noticed any sort of power change is when I forget to hit OK to continue in Sport mode.

You may want to check your drive modes screen to make sure you are not having the issue where you can't select a different drive mode.

Wow, I noticed my '24 Flash was feeling sluggish after I took it in for the GSM recall and had the tech update all modules with pending updates. (this is what almost completely has eliminated the acceleration shudder/stutter) The shudder has been 'tightened' and is much less noticeable for me. I would be willing to guesstimate that this has something to do with it - Who has the Dyno charts from before?

I also think this is just you getting used to the speed and it starting to feel slow. Mine feels a bit slower as well, but so did my previous Model 3 Performance after driving it for years. You just get really used to it and it does not feel as quick. When I have people in the car and I floor it they are all still impressed.

If you want to have a serious conversation about this, numbers are needed. Take it to the drag strip and get some times with some fresh tires. "Feeling" is impossible to quantify and the conversation will just go in circles.

Its the feeling of reduced acceleration that finally convinced me to implement continious logging in the truck. So now it logs about 40 parameters, including accelerometer data, during every drive.

Sadly I dont have these from before I felt like acceleration was changed. Sadly i doubt many will have regular 1/4 mile runs to compare over time.

You're....

I wouldn't quite call myself the Grammar Police, but this drives me nuts when I see it. There's a lot that bugs me... like when people use "then" instead of "than", ha ha.

My 23 Lightning has 33k miles and I cannot tell a difference... same insane torque and power. It's just that people get used to it and acceleration feels like it's less than before.
