Wow, able to park IN your garage. I have envy. ;)
When we bought our first home in 1987, I was happy to have a 2 car garage. Unfortunately, that garage had a boat in one bay.... Moved in 1994, house had a 3 car garage so both vehicle were inside.

When we got our Lightning, my 2013 F-150 was relegated to the driveway. I wanted to sell it, wife said no for 6 months until she was convinced that going all EV was OK. I was not happy with it getting bird crap on it, dust, etc.

We have neighbors that keep their cars outside with 3 car garages. I don't get it.

Yeah, I have a "two" car garage, but they'd have to be smaller cars. I have room on the sides for the Lightning, but as has been noted in other threads, only about an inch or 2 clearance front to back.
I'd LOVE a 3 car.

Heat and air for the frunk I can live with out. But why didn't Ford install some speakers in the frunk or tail gate? This seems like an easier accomodation and really would be great for trailgaiting or frunk gaiting ! I know they sell after market options for frunk speakers but it takes up prime real estate when Ford could have built something into the roof or the frunk for when it's open you can chill out with friends and music.

These days it's WAAAY easier to just pop out one of those little bluetooth portable speakers for that. I got one for about $100 to put in my box truck. It's significantly less than replacing my cab speakers and actually louder/better sound quality anyway.

I agree and have a portable speaker that lives in the frunk but considering differentiators this would be cool to show off. Maybe for the upper trims only. It seems like every time I open the frunk heads turn to take a peak. Or they could go the rivian route and provide a built in portable speaker but I doubt that happens.

As much as I love using the frunk for groceries, I don't think climate controlling it is the answer. It would almost certainly have to shrink for the extra ducting and controls, and its volume is enough that heating and cooling it would take time and no small amount of energy over a longer trip.

I do want to pull the trigger on some cooler though we can plug in at times. Unlike the other poster, we generally can't use the back seat for groceries since our kids are often back there when we go grocery shopping. For small trips it's not terrible and they just deal with a bit less room, but sometimes we have enough it's a lot easier for loading and unloading to put them in the frunk.

Having a cooler would definitely be nice, just probably not part of the truck. I keep getting hung up on finding the largest one I can get away with though, and may just aim for keeping it in the bed anyway. Will make more sense for longer trips as we often use the frunk for luggage we want to keep extra secure from the elements. So even for the best time to have the cooled frunk, a road trip, I would likely prefer to keep the space for luggage and electronics and that.

Add an option for an external range extender. I would easily sacrifice some bed space during winter to carry a generator and spare fuel. Keeping my truck in shape during holidays at the cabin.

Make it a kit, with storage for fuel and a “certified” added range. Assembling the parts is of course not that hard, but a hurdle nonetheless.

I have actually been looking at putting an electric cooler in the frunk for just that. And yes....wish I could put my truck in the garage.

Sell search trim level for $10k less and actually market the damn truck!

Also getting more dealers to purchase them as loaners to expose more people to them would go a long way.
