SOC % dropping as soon as I turn truck on

I have noticed my 2022 Lariat ER after being set to charge to 90% will jump to 91% after pulling out of the garage.

I have chalked it up to temperature variations.

The diagnostic tool they use is FDRS. There are other specialty diag systems just for the HVB however.

Point being .... does anyone in that shop know what they have and how to use it?

If you have Car Scanner, in the default dashboard, you'll also see that the HVB SoC is measured to 2 decimal places but the GOM is to one decimal place while the display SoC is to the nearest integer. This means that if the actual SoC is at 90.30, the GOM will show 90.5 while the display is show 90. If you disconnect shore power and start the truck, it will immediately draw the small overage from the HVB and the display will drop to 89%.

Isn't "Battery Health Check" an official procedure Ford Technicians are supposed to consider using with their diagnostic tools, SMH!!!!!!

One would think...

I showed the dealer rep the bulletin that said to do a battery health check when my truck's symptoms were observed. They couldn't find the bulletin in their system so they (supposedly) relied on direction from Ford, which was to update every module in the truck! Obviously updating every module takes longer than running a battery health check. This decision was baffling. When it was all said and done it took four visits to the dealership before my truck was fixed. Thankfully, it worked perfectly fine between visits

I have no clue where the aforementioned bulletin went. Presumably it was either cancelled or replaced. The dealership couldn't find the replacement.
