Honest question though: is it fair to compare all F-150s against just the Cybertruck? Last year Ford sold 732K F-series trucks so that's like 10% and so far this year numbers are up. My quick search of just new Lightnings on Cars.com yields just under 5K.
I don't see why not, it's one model vs one model. Maybe we normalize by total revenue to get a better idea of who has more $$ on the lot.

10,000 trucks in inventory doesn't sound like a crazy number to me.

The article seems like a pile-on. I'm fine with that.
they have only sold about 40k trucks in 2 years. 10k is two years worth of inventory. it's an enormous amount. imagine if Ford had 70,000 lightnings sitting on lots around Dearborn.

But you offered nothing to refute either.

Regardless, it is clear CT is a sales tu*d.
He didn't have to. The article was nothing but a put down. The article offered no insight on what the company is doing about it if anything. It was just another hate on Tesla article. Meanwhile, Tesla is still selling cars, you are having a nice time with your truck Ct owner are having a nice time with theirs. In the words of Rodney King, "Can we all just get along?"

sw engineering manager,
Slate going to eat into Tesla and Rivian likely more than Ford.
Slate needs AWD to really generate some interest in places where it snows.

"Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics"

The beauty of statistics is that you can prove whatever you want, just modify the data set to suit your agenda.

Why not include all Ford Trucks vs. all Tesla Trucks, or all Fords vs. all Teslas, or maybe all Fords in Dearborn MI vs. Teslas in Saskatchewan ?
