THe trucks like mine actually have the 2.4 plus the 7.2.. they have two inverters. THe only way to use all 9.6 in conjunction is the FOrd charge station with their home backup system. The 7.2 runs all the bed outlets and the 2.4 runs all the interior outlets including the Frunk.
I have a 2025 Lariat with the 9.6 PPO option, but it seems the 240v plug in the bed is only 30 amps, so that’s 7200 watts. I assume that means I can still get another 10 amps from each of the two 120v outlets in the bed? Or does the other 2400 watts need to come from inside the truck cabin? I am planning to wire up an outlet to an interlocked sub-panel at the cottage as kstype has shown? trying to plan what I can power with that outlet (well pump, furnace, fridge, microwave for sure, but wondering about water heater and other stuff)

The Cabin/Frunk is served by another inverter system rated for 2400 watts

Just another occurrence of PPO saving the day.

Straight line gusts of over 60 mph wrecked havoc with local power lines and internet is western PA the past few days. We lost power for 48 hours because other damage took precedence.

Mild temperatures meant we only needed sporadic heat along with lights and appliances.

The Lightning performed admirably to the point of keeping the hot tub at 102°F and the beer fridge beside it at 42°F.

Good work, Ford.
Ford would like to hear from any of you with stories on how your Lightning saved the day during this storm. See https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...all-from-ford-for-winter-storm-stories.35594/

The 2.4 kw inverter serves outlets in the cab and frunk. 20A total from any combination of plugs. There is no 10A per plug limit.

OOPS, my bad, they ARE 20A outlets.

Also, the 120V receptacles are not apparently 20A type, so I'd assume a 15A limit on them individually.

The 120v outlets in the bed are definitely 20a style.

I have been waiting for an outage since I put in the GENERAC 6853 transfer switch last June...had some rough weather, but so far haven't had a chance to use the PPOB in an outage, alas (?)
It'll be much nicer than the loud gas generator I used in prior years!

Glad it was a $400 transfer switch and not a buggy $10k HIS.

I also have a hot tube (1999 Sundance Optima) but it's on a 60A circuit - with the insulating floating blanket, the water stays warm for a long time without power if the lid is closed.

Can't put the high current items on it of course, the range (50A) or the hot water heater (30A) or the AC (40A), but the ceiling fans and shade trees keep the house comfortable, the microwave can cook a lot of foods, and the hot water in the 50 gal tank lasts quite a while without power.

I've gotta have the coffee pot and toaster naturally! The wife requires the cell phone and the wifi.

Got the basics covered with plenty of PPOB juice to spare.

Yep, you're right. In fact all the 12ov seem to be 20A, the frunk, and the cabin too.
