Probably stocking GM with adapter inventory. I have a friend who just bought a Cadillac Lyric. He is jealous that I received and adapter and can charge our Lightning at Superchargers.

It was announced that GM and Ford were going to native NACS charge ports in their 2025 model year vehicles yet it seems that Ford at least is backing off that planed port change for MY25.

Ford being FIRST seems to be irrelevant!

I ordered my adapter for my 2022 Lightning on 2/29/24 and my estimated ship date slips month for month and is now September 2024. (It started at June 2024)

My son took delivery of a Rivian R1S six months after I got my Lightning. He was notified that as a Rivian owner he would automatically get an adapter. And today he got his notice from Rivian that his adapter is ready to ship.

Could Musk be screwing with Farley?

The delay has been delayed.

I just got my email too. Had to double check; still saying September. I think there's a pretty good chance flood gates will open this month, given what Tesla said about their production numbers for adapters.
