Went into the dealership for CSP 25B09 but came out missing an infrared camera cover

Hello guys, back in August, I went into the dealership to replace the floor console gsm. A few days later, they told me "one part came in wrong from the package" and they had to make a "special order" for this part. And it is the infrared camera cover missing in the picture. I don't understand why they needed to take the infrared camera cover off to replace it, but it seems like they broke the cover while doing the replacement. Now it has been months, and I am just wondering if anybody knows how to get this part or where I can get it fixed.

No, that did not need to be removed for that service. The XLT and Flashes maybe, because a lot of the trim around the screen does get removed and replaced. The Lariat 15” screen does not require anything on the dash to be removed, just the trim around the gear shifter section.

Have you heard anything from the dealer or have you been checking in with them? They are probably hoping you'll just forget about it. Keep bugging them. They broke it they have to fix it.

It's a special order part because it's not something a dealer would keep on hand. Unless it's out of stock at the distributor it should only take a day or two to arrive.
