Replaced my 1993 F250 4x4. I don't miss the 8-10 mpg from a fuel injected 460. I also don't miss doing oil changes and getting smog checks. Would have been nice if I could have gotten a long (8') bed extended cab Lightning pro.

I still have a reservation for a 22 Pro at $39,974. Chip delays, etc etc and now they will not fill it for less than $50K Ford says its the local dealer, local says it's
Ford corporate.
Best advice: give it up and buy a Rivian, or any chance of forcing them to live up to our agreement. Sorry to bother with an off the wall question, but I can't the answer anywhere on this site.
A couple points.

Reservations are not for a specific model year.. When you are invited to order, you can order the currently available model. A reservation is not an agreement of any kind - it is not binding on you, Ford, or the dealer.

Fault for what? The fact that you didn’t get an order invitation, or the fact that the price increased? Invitation to order is mysterious, but it seems like dealers get so many allocations and they can prioritize who gets invited first. The fact that prices have increased is on Ford.

Rivian will be no better. The wait will likely be longer, and the price will change. They could also be out of business before you get a truck.

Oh….back on topic. I replaced a 2017 F150 Supercab. I miss my 6-1/2’ bed.

17 Nissan Titan Pro4x with a 3” lift on 34’s. Really enjoyed my time with it. Don’t miss the 15mpg though.

2011 F-150. Barely miss it, just the V8 sound. I have a Nova to scratch that itch though.

Wow! A Nova. My 1st car was a straight six Nova. Lightning is quiet. I hope my decat Duc and M2 race exhaust will keep me.

I have to park at the end simply because I haven't mastered its turning radius yet. :ROFLMAO:

17 Nissan Titan SL for me. First new vehicle I ever bought. Similarly, that truck served me extremely well... but yea I think my lifetime 14.3 mpg was painful at the pump.

99 Mercury mountaineer
If I take delivery (wife's pushing to wait for an id.buzz), I'll be replacing a 99 Mercury Mountaineer with the good ol 5.0 and only 113,000 miles. Right now it mainly makes feed store runs.
