I do recall going on atruck before getting on a rail. Did you program the speed dial in yet?
“ Thank you for waiting. I have located the order in the in transit status. Shipped Rail - Railcar # KCS 008346. I also see an ETA of Sep-07-2023 for delivery to your dealer. You may continue to track your order here: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/
@Yellow Buddy Evidently we were remembering correctly. A short truck trip to the rail car. Now I just have to wait until it gets loaded up and moving.

Some of these transit times seem silly when you figure you can probably drive there and pick it up I. About 3 days round trip.

Not yet…. Last time I had an android and couldn’t get the thing programmed right to click through the prompts. Now that The Boss made me switch to the 14 Pro maybe it will work better. However our new tracking system at work is much better. Maybe I’ll just bug the GM every 15 minutes for location updates.

This came in today so the Wife may make me just take it instead. I’m just not sold on the color.
That’s not a bad color, but agree with @Yellow Buddy , if you aren’t sold on it just wait yours will be off ramp cinco soon!

We arrived in TN took about 10 hrs with 3 stops. All in all not bad, just a long day on the road.

Did you need 3 stops for range? Or just needed 3 stops in general?

Curious because when I go 10 hours I usually only do 1-2 stops, even with elevation along the blue ridge.

So your fears of that last charging station were unfounded?

Or possibly better efficiency than ABRP predicted. @Ffxdude did you use an OBD reader with it?

Earlier in the year it was still in alpha mode and it had major issues with range and predicted consumption. I’ve personally put over 6,000 miles on it with an OBD so hopefully it’s more accurate now.

With my Pro I get about 2 hrs of driving time at highway speeds unless I wast a ton of time charging above 80%.

I thought @Ffxdude had an ER.

I get about 4-5 hours out of the ER on my 1st leg usually (starting at 100%) but subsequent legs are usually only about 2-3 hours (80% charge) at highway speeds.

After the initial charge there’s not a whole lot of difference I get maybe an extra hour of driving at best over a SR.

He probably does have an ER. All I know is that 80%charging drop off is a BITCH. There is no polite way to say it. That’s why I’m curious and a little excited to see the charging curve on the LFP batteries.

What do you see on the Pro at 80%? I didn’t DCFC mine much when I had it, I always took the Rivian when I went further.

On the ER I drop from 120KW to 67KW at 80%. Definitely off a cliff.

needed three, partly because I wanted to skip that last stop in west Knoxville and needed to get to my destination with at least 50% and partially because the ea charger in wythville va is offline again.

yep cause I waved as we drove by lol ? I’ll probably hit it up later in the week to see how it does.

I do! I went about 210 mi from my house to first stop and then about 150 between next stops. The timing works reasonably well with the kids potty breaks.

It always seem to level off right at 44kw after hanging around 90 kw from 70-80%

That’s the better way. I made that mistake on my first trip with the kids. I skipped a charging stop that ABRP recommended…then needed to stop for 30 minutes for a potty break without a charge. Added stop for no reason
