SF to LA - anyone has done this?

Would be curious to hear if anyone has done a trip from the Bay Area ( east bay) to LA? Planning to do this next week and the trip planner says 2 stops around 30 mins each… but that’s if the high KW charger they recommend is available ?. Wonder how accurate that is.

That sounds about right. I've done So Cal to Sacramento and back multiple times. 2 stops about that time very typical. ABRP and Plugshare apps are your friend.

I haven't done that trip yet. But I did go LA to Vegas, that was one stop in Baker. However, I found it better to make two stops 10-15 min each on the way back.

Done it three times. I usually only needed one stop on the way down since I could charge at my end point. I like Kettleman City on the way down and Harris Ranch Inn on the way back.

Have done this several times. I take 2 days and usually charge 4 times (in the 35-60% SOC charge range) and end up with a little over 50% SOC on arrival. You could probably do it in 2 charges if you felt you could really rely on the chargers, which I don’t yet. I took 101 instead of 5. Seemed like a larger variety of chargers on 101 and it’s so much prettier.
