New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout March 2025

I had asked before how to tell what version of BC I have, and was told that 2025s all shipped with BC1.2 and BC1.4 wasn't out for them yet. Is that not correct? How do you know that you have 1.4?

Well, I thought I saw it somewhere either on a Ford website or on screen in the truck or on the app but damned if I can find it now so I have no idea at this point what BC I have lol. Good grief.

What I'm going to do to find out though is on the near horizon, I picked up a strong power supply and I'm going to interface with Ford's data base and my vcm2 to see what's what.

Believe 1.4 adds curve control (well technically 1.3 but the lightnings skipped to 1.4) when you have predictive speed assist enabled (automatically slows and speeds up for speed limit changes). This slows the truck down going into curves even with regular hands-on lane center but tends to spaz out. Maybe someone with a 24 can confirm since it came with 1.2.

Ok I think I found it. One thing I noted when using BC I blipped the turn signal to change lanes and the truck did it for me if that's indicative of BC 1.4.

Here's the chart I found that says all 25> comes with BC 1.4 where as the Mustang e comes with BC 1.5 and goes on to say other models to follow. I only grabbed the ss of the f 150 timelines and software levels.

1.2 has lane change assist and in lane repositioning. 1.4 is just stability improvements and the curve control which I'm sure most don't run into since Predictive Speed Assist is flaky enough leading to most to disable it. Google does seem to think the 25's (excluding mach e) came with 1.4 though

Ok I think I found it. One thing I noted when using BC I blipped the turn signal to change lanes and the truck did it for me if that's indicative of BC 1.4.

Here's the chart I found that says all 25> comes with BC 1.4 where as the Mustang e comes with BC 1.5 and goes on to say other models to follow. I only grabbed the ss of the f 150 timelines and software levels.

As mentioned, if you have automatic lane change with a tab of the turn single you have 1.4 more likely than not.

I don’t think 1.4 adds any major features. Just some well needed refinement.

According to this, BC 1.4 is not available for any F150 of any kind via software update, so...........
