I thought the Welcome lighting was proximity based, and that the Flash and below didn't have the module necissary to do proximity sensing.

If either of you have forscan, or are willing to share your vin, I could compare the as built files.

Mine will auto unlock and light up all the lights when I get close to it with the fob in my pocket, I think that's proximity based. The welcome/ambient lighting is in a different option package than what mine came with.

How is this different than "Approach Lighting"? I got that when I added passive entry to my truck. I don't believe I have a toggle for it though.

Footwell lighting is what they are referring to. Not external lighting.

Just double-checking that that is what we're really talking about here. This manual entry seems to say otherwise. I assumed welcome/approach referred to exterior lamps.

I have the 15" screen as does the op, we both have zone lighting, all the exterior lights, what we do not have is the footwell/cup holder lighting.

My truck doesn't have the interior lighting and I don't think it's supposed to. What I'm talking about is the exterior lights that come on when you approach the vehicle. It physically has all the lights used in the welcome lighting but doesn't seem to have that option in the settings.

Got it. My guess is that you can enable it with FORScan. I have a Pro with zone lighting and I was able to add it. The FORScan settings on the passive entry post would most likely have them.

Edit: here's a direct link to the spreadsheet to review. Looks like you'd want to look around the first block (726-18-01) listed for "approach detection". Not sure how this translates to a 2025 though.

I added this to my pro as well, after I added the passive entry door handles. I'm assuming that the flash has those, right?
