My brand new Toyo AT3 EV 33” tires only used 3-5% more energy than 32” OEM Michelins.
Roughly 2.01 mi/kWh vs 1.95 mi/kWh
I drove the same 39 mile loop at 70mph with the HVAC set to 75° and speed set by GPS app.
Before and after each test, I charged to 70% displayed on the same Supercharger to help me gauge consumption. I started and ended at the same spot, with the same starting SoC. 94°F out, some wind.
I did the OEM Michelin 275/65R18 with 49k mi on them first, then the new today Toyo AT3 EV P275/70R18.
Also, my last 2,000+ miles on the OEM 32” Michelins averaged 2.3mi/kWh. The last 140 miles in the new Toyo 33”s also averaged 2.3mi/kWh.
I am very pleased with these numbers, and expect the Toyos will notice a bit as they wear in.
