Thought so. My guess would be one would need to use regular cruise control instead of adaptive in order for it to not fight one with the wheel.

Interesting. Have you not received the IPMA update then? (If unsure DM me your VIN and I'll check). It seems to work when I disable it correctly using the toggle on mine even with Adaptive Cruise still enabled.
Hmm, I tested mine today. I turned off the toggle I showed in post 15. And when I turned on CC on a city street (non BC), I immediately got the popup that Lane Keeping was enabled and the instrument cluster confirmed. So despite the toggle being off, LKA still turned on with cruise for me..I updated it in FDRS a couple months back so everything should be on the latest including BC 1.4. I toggled the lane keeping off on the center screen and when I turned on CC, it didn't default to hands-on lane centering when I was driving. I'll doublecheck again the next time I go out.
Yep - still no response from @Ford Motor Company, which is sad. They need to revert that update. I cannot even fathom why they think I want that lane assist turned on when all I want is plain old cruise control.Yep, it's incredibly annoying. I've built the muscle memory to cancel the lane keep when turning on cruise.
@Ford Motor Company You need to revert that update. It was not a good idea. Please have whoever you gave a bonus to for suggesting it return said bonus. Thanks.

It's still there. and it works. I would never use hands free but I use cruise control all the time and I've had this setting for two years. I'm not in my truck but there is a setting under cruise control for lane alert. I have mine set to alert me by vibrating the steering wheel.
With the latest update for 2022-2024 F-150 Lightning, it has one-button activation which allows you to simply press the Adaptive Cruise Control button to engage BlueCruise or Adaptive Cruise Control without worrying about making sure Lane Keeping is activated on the steering wheel. However, this can be turned off by simply pressing the Lane Keeping button. The team are continuing to explore the best user experience and I have passed along the feedback you have shared.Yep - still no response from @Ford Motor Company, which is sad. It was better when the two (cruise and lane keeping) where independent of each other. Anytime you start adding dependencies you start introducing unintended behaviors. With the latest update for 2022-2024 F-150 Lightning, it has one-button activation which allows you to simply press the Adaptive Cruise Control button to engage BlueCruise or Adaptive Cruise Control without worrying about making sure Lane Keeping is activated on the steering wheel.
