This went public (to iOS at least) really quick. Doesn't look like any new functionality, that is what we hope they'll build on now.

@Ford Motor Company the truth is the UI is better and sort of fits liquid glass a bit. Too strong though, so get more translucency.

On IOS you should be letting people start their vehicles with the shortcut via voice wihtout having to first unlock the device. I do this through siri on a watch that can start the vehicle by tapping all by itself. You aren't increasing security by not allowing known voice to trigger shortcuts.

In vehicle status when driving screen would be a nice touch. Some stats we dont typically see.
PAAk for all? Blah blah hardware. I guess it's all there on some lower trims too.

Frunk/tailgate buttons are there for trucks with PAAK. Shows disconnected since I'm not in bluetooth range. (and yeah, I apparently only have half of a truck. )

Maybe you only get the full truck if its a Platinum? Or if PAAK is working. Either way Im really in it for Camp and Dog. its just silly that we have a remote start timer. Tesla just notified you if you were dumb and left the climate on for a while. When it hit 20% it shut down. That also allowed the sensors to do overheat protection while occupied. Its really not that hard to do. And dog is camp without accessories and a splash screen. Maybe camp is harder because of lighting up the windows and all which you currently cant do without a key or a paak. But lets go Ford, 26 is coming.

Were you able to find Tesla charges before within the app? You definitely can now. Still cannot send them, or any other, to the truck.

Yeah would be nice to send a destination or a charger to the trucks nav.

Charging this evening and the new app does not show kWh Energy Added. The percentage is going up, and rate looks correct. Not sure why that alone would be affected. Anyone else noticing the same thing in the new app when charging?

Could just be an iOS bug for now as mine is showing kWh Energy Added as it charges (Pixel 8 on A16)

They've never been able to get the kWh of energy 100%. Some have had the app show their trucks added 200kWh+. And I guess that kWh added isn't exactly what's going to the battery. Decided to compare what the EVSE dispensed to what showed in FordPass with the difference in remaining energy from CarScanner.

Fun is seeing that I have a 7:55 AM departure time, 45 degrees, and its running up at 720. We really need 35 minutes to get warm in 45 degrees?

That would be battery warming phase, if the preparation process starts more than 10 minutes prior to intended departure time, leaving a 5 minutes of overrun time, this is assuming you have a 15 minute remote start setting.

Yes, and its nuts how long that takes and I have a 25 with the HP. Had a model Y in freeze temps and it was 15min max and cooking.

Just downloaded it! Nothing new, just new icon and different internal design but same features.
Are we ever getting useful stuff in the app? Things like zone lighting, power onboard, etc…

ProPower Onboard monitoring is on the main vehicle page right under the Trailer Light Check.

Mine showed the kwh added on iPhone iOS26.

I actually screenshotted this same page and was going to post it to say that the text is huge. It's a waste of space. Same thing with the app home screen. I do have my phone set to larger text or zoom mode (don't remember with one or both) because my eyesight is bad. I don't know if that's why the text is so large but even then it's way too much. Not as much fits on a page without scrolling.
