SYNC-25.2.1.6.5.2 - SiriusXM Service Update

I got this update while out driving late Monday, 2/9/26. Couldn't find a previous thread about it on the forum (but it seems to be mentioned in other update threads). I only subscribe to SiriusXM on a per-month basis for the occasional long-distance trip - I'm still waiting for the promised OTA fix for Ford's HIS system to make it come on automatically during a power outage... Fingers crossed. Breath not held!

Got the update this morning. After the update all my departure times and perferred charge settings disappeared. Anyone else seeing this?

What EAP people post about potential updated? I am shocked I tell you

Sadly don’t use Sirius so can’t even test it until the next free weekend. I am glad they did though as the buffering going around a mountain or in the woods was the reason i stopped subscribing to it.

I will add that if it is much improved @Ford Motor Company should work with Sirius and do a trial again to show how it is improved.

Yeah it happened to me “whenever” I got mine. Charged right through my peak time. Which sucked.

I also think the EAP program has a duty to advise EAP members IN ADVANCE when an update originates from the EAP. If Ford doesn't do so, how can any EAP member tell whether an update is EAP or not?

So I had no issues with either recent update but I was not charging at the time I updated. It seems like the people with issues had a charge session going when it tried to update.

And give more information on what they think “those people” are supposed to be watching for on the survey that “they” might be sent minutes after (sometimes before) the update is installed on the truck….

This update just came in for me today. I’m on the last day of a free trial offer. I have not noticed anything wonky associated with this update. My Sync Version updated to 25221_Product Revision 2025

Noticed weird behavior when I started my truck after a charge. All four Drive Mode options said "Normal" couldn't get into Sport Mode, until a little while into the drive. Got to my destination, figured I'd see if there was a recent update and saw the, "Updates Downloading" message for SYNC-25.2.1.6.5.2
