Are folks still seeing the recall listed on their service list in Ford App or Ford.com?

It's been a good while since mine was repaired, was expecting the alert to drop off by now.
41 days, seems long enough for dealership SA to close the record.
Should be, but your dealer hasn't submitted the claim yet
I recall he was having "issues" with the computer while trying to print a copy of the closed work order, he probably never revisited the case after I left.
Reminds me, I need to visit the SM to get the already completed recall of the recall, off my recall record.
Chatted with the SA, they have submitted what was needed to FoMoCo, waiting for review and disposition, it should disappear from my end in the near future.

Just took mine in for what I thought was going to be the replacement of the rear light bar after bringing it in a prior time to the dealer for the inspection, which they said failed the inspection at that time.

However, when I went to pick up today they said it now passed inspection and say I would need to replace the light bar out of pocket.

Do I have any recourse here (i.e. can I try to take it to another dealer?) or am I stuck paying out of pocket?

Good to know. I have 3 open recalls. Coming up on my 90k mile service. I'd like to get it all done in one shot.
Unfortunately, one shot may not work if the light bar is needed and not in stock. My dealer said that the light bars are ordered VIN specific after approval from Ford.

Do not pay, it's a recall and they screwed up. We are not responsible for work done under a recall and you didn't authorize replacement not under the recall. DM Brian (Ford rep here) and see if he can help escalate if needed.

Thanks for the advice.

They ended up telling me to bring it back in for what I thought sounded like they were going to re-inspect again for eligibility, but they ended up just doing the replacement altogether. So, not sure exactly what happened, but guessing someone realized they messed up.

In any case, reversing lamps work now which is great, but I'm noticing the red lights in the rear light bar (the long horizontal part between the taillights) are not illuminating.

Should this have been fixed with this recall as well or is this a separate issue?

If it's a brand new lightbar then I can't think of any reason for it to not work as expected. I'd let them know as soon as possible.

Mine was inspected this past weekend and had the screws so it was also replaced...again. (Wish they would have told me that's why it took so long to finish the work.) I don't recall ever having an issue with it but I don't get much rain or humidity so there aren't a lot of opportunities for water to creep in. I haven't driven at night yet to get a good look at the latetst light bar, I'll check it out in the garage tonight and make sure it's lighting up properly.

Call from the service manager this morning, they will pickup my truck to complete the photographic evidence that the repair was completed as specified, apparently the tech who did the recall forgot the photos, and the recall claim for payment has aged out. Don't you love AUDIT CYCLES !

What are the odds the tech didn't read any instructions and installed the replacement incorrectly again. :D

I hope not, but that did come to mind, they're going to send a driver to pick up my truck this week to inspect it again, hopefully they find it was installed correctly, otherwise that would mean a fourth lightbar for my truck since original production.

They picked her up late morning, completed the re-inspection snapped some photos and returned the truck mid-afternoon, hopefully that satisfies the requirements to close out the recall alert over the next couple of days.

I took mine in 2 weeks ago. Waiting on the part.
after Ford notified me that parts were available, I scheduled the inspection and confirmed that mine needed replacing. That was a month ago. Called the dealer and confirmed the parts are on back order. Come on @Ford Motor Company get it together, THIS IS A SAFETY RECALL. Does NHTSA know you can't provide parts for a safety recall?

Your dealer may have the light bar on hand but they may not have the attachment hardware that Ford calls out for the replacement. Your dealer may thought that they can use the existing hardware. That is not the case any more. Selling it to Ford with the existing hardware would not pass the release of the truck back to its owner.
Dealers would not tell you the entire story when they cannot accomplish the recall following the โ€œcomplete instructionsโ€. Ford is releasing the vehicle back to you, not the dealer.

It's been a week since the re-inspection, recall still listed on Ford App, I'll assume my situation is an exceptional process due to the missed opportunity to document the completion of the repair during the processing of the just in time work order.

Maybe it'll disappear at some point by the end of month when reconciliation audits are done and Tasca hits the reimbursement cycle.
