*** Forgive the weird title of post, but it seems to match the strangeness of the scenario I'm about to describe. ***

So...late last night, I left the house to pickup the family from a holiday party. I noticed a bunch or alerts via the FordPass (ahem, Ford) App.

1. 12v battery
2. One-touch window operation
3. Wheel alignment
4. Wheel vibration

Unfortunately, I didn't take any screenshots, but read each alert's description.

Fast-forward a bit; back home and in sort of a hurry to charge as I was down to 38% and had already lost an hour within my reduced-rate charging plan. I performed forum searches for the wheel alignment/wheel vibration errors, but saw no results.

So this morning (and half-asleep), I notice on my phone's lock screen: Ford App, stating "please ignore the xxxx alerts"...and when I clicked on that message, it opens Ford App....to NOTHING!

No history of the errors/alerts (Ford App/Ford.com account), not even the detail I wanted to see in the "please ignore" message.

I went to sleep thinking about how my morning was going to start, on whether I needed to look into things, or reset 12v, etc. I'm even glad to sleepily see the initial ignore lock message...but at least keep that last message in history (or let me read it once)!

Wondering if anyone has experienced this situation or behaviour?

I don't have a history of events like the ones You describe, to answer Your question.

However, I remember that Your truck was used when bought, right? And it's a 2023 model... who knows how long it had sat at a dealer's, before and after the 1st owner, and all that. Meaning - perhaps it is that Your 12V battery is showing signs of a hard life. These 12V batteries, when their capacities get lower in their life, can cause all kinds of weird gremlins to "ghost-appear".

Best wishes for troubleshooting!

You are correct, it was bought used. It was at the dealer for less than 2 months, iirc. I have been questioning the battery as of late. Will get it tested soon. When I had mobile service visit this past summer, it did pass.

Exact same situation last night, freaked me out a bit. Ford.com showed a completely clear health report, no issues. Truck threw no codes/warnings, before, during or after. Charged without issue. Alerts gone this morning wit the "correction to the warning" message (which I accidentally dismissed because I was tired). This morning truck works fine, no issues, no warnings.

Truck purchased brand new in October 2023, ordered directly from Ford.

Was a server bug, nothing to worry about
This is my suspicion as well. Another example of Ford being complete shit with their software. Tesla, Rivian and Lucid all seem to have their house in order there. I guess that's the difference between a "legacy" automaker and one who is "software first" thinking about the vehicle as a whole with all systems working together.

I love my Lightning, but lately I've been very frustrated with Ford and their "fly by the seat of our pants" attitude with regards to their EVs. 😡

Quick dive into Reddit also shows that this is a Ford issue, not a Lightning issue...several Mach-E owners report the same thing in their Ford Pass app. Lovely.

If only everyone and everything could be perfect all the time...

Just yesterday Delta had a major outage in Detroit stopping all flights for hours, last year CrowdStrike had an issue causing issues all over the world, so to flame Ford for something that might not even have been their fault (directly anyway as I doub they wrote the software for the servers) is kind of harsh.

If @Gimme_my_MME says it was a server bug, then it was a server bug. Guaranteed. ;)
Agreed, this has happened a few times over the past 3+ years that I've had my Lightning.
Just a little data-indigestion in the server farm.

Fair point. Perhaps saying their software is "shit" is a little excessive. I will say that in my 35 years as an IT professional at the infrastructure level, I understand that no one's perfect...but there's room for improvement, for sure.

I think some of us think of this as a 'device', with certain software and 'download'/'updates', on a regular basis...

I, personally, just drive this magnificent amazing machine, and enjoy every minute of it...
I have never lost any sleep or a moments concern over any 'updates'... it just works.

Some of us are concerned about mal-acting updates in the middle of critical activities like a long road trip in sub-freezing weather, that is rightful concern.
