I had my Lightning all prepared for the big snow storm to hit this weekend with 9" to 12" projected here in central Kansas. Got my receiver hitch with clevis and a couple 10,000# tow straps ready to pull out stuck travelers. Planned to be out roaming around 4 wheeling when everybody else was at home but it kinda fizzled out with the severe cold. The snow is just light powder. As long as I clear the drive real quick with the leaf blower before driving on it, the snow just blows aways, downwind, of course.
Getting about time to head out with the leaf/snow blower and clear the driveway, porch, and patio again. Then change batteries and go over to the neighbor lady's place. Hate the Zero degrees but this powder snow is nothing. Not even a challenge to the Lightning.
Other than having to keep the heater set into the lower 80's to keep it warm inside, it is fun.
Still have a lot more snow coming in the next 24 hours but so far no big deal.
