List of Software Updates-Picking up a new Flash next week.

I am trading in my Pro next week for a 2025 Flash that was built in August 2025. The new truck is currently at another dealer and is being picked up by my dealer.

I want to make sure all of the software updates are done before delivery. Is there a comprehensive list of updates so I can verify all updates were done? I searched and I cannot find one.

I know @TaxmanHog has a listing of his updates in his signature line but I assume all of those updates would not apply to a 2025 Flash.

Hard to say, which are already on the 2025 FLASH in 'as built' out of the factory.

Maybe a member with a 2025 Flash who is tracking can share details of what they have gotten so far.

Unfortunately, the ability to check for some of us to check for pending updates is no longer available. What I can tell you is that if it is a 2025, it cannot be terribly behind as it would have been built with most of the latest stuff already. I don't think you need to be overly concerned about this due to the year of the truck.

I would just make sure the most recent trailer and parking brake software recalls have been addressed. if you have the VIN, you can probably check on Ford’s website to see the recall status.

I specified this when I bought my truck:

Perform all updates in FDRS until none remain, and provide list of updates performed and screenprint showing none remain.

My April 2022 build that I bought in May 2023 had so many updates that they could not print the list, it crashed.

I just took my truck to the dealer for the PAWL recall (25C69) and they told me it had already been installed OTA. I asked them why I had no record of it anywhere and they told me they know because they hook up to the truck and check the Ford server with their dealer system...hmmmm.

Not showing up as installed anywhere I can find on the Ford web site by my vin - the web site does say I have no outstanding recalls though.

The one that was installed by Ford mobile installer for the tow package also not shown anywhere - I saw him install it in my driveway, so I know it was done.

So you can look with your vin at: https://www.ford.com/support/software-updates

But take it with a grain of salt. The list is not comprehensive. The in-truck software update menu only shows the most recent one it logged - mine did not show 25C69 the PAWL recall but it shows one that was installed in April before that could have been.

I did look at the link for updates. The link provides updates within the last 90 days and none were showing for the new Flash. I would assume there are some updates needed.

If I tinkered with Forscan the truck would end up bricked in my garage.

You may already know this, from owning a Pro, but updates are somewhat infrequent and information about them 'sparse' - the dealership should be able to be sure you have whatever is available.

Thanks. I assume the dealer will be able to give me a print out. I was unaware that such a site existed.

I have been vehicles from this dealer for the last 30 years, so I will ask them to do the print out.

The dealer did the Parking Pawl recall/update a couple weeks ago. Does this fix supposed to automatically set the electronic brake when you put it in park, or no?

Under the previously designed conditions, ie. steep enough parking angle.

Ok. So, I am wondering what was the actual fix? They said it's fixed but they didn't explain what was actually done to the truck. I remember reading someone's post saying that the fix would be the e brake would be automatically applied when put into park.
