My dealer called yesterday and informed me that even though he sees the "shipped" notification the vehicle has not left the factory. He said the car was not on chip-hold, but something else was holding it back (maybe snow removal?) that he could not figure out per their OASIS system (not sure if there is a more suitable system for him to use, I think I did see on this forum that there is a newer system for dealers available?)

He said the car will be shipped by rail to New Jersey and then trucked up to CT and gave me an ETA for last week of January/first week of February. As of now the Ford website still shows an ETA window of 12/29-1/4. The dealer said they will call me once they see the car moving.

As mentioned above, hope has diminished considerably for a year-end miracle.

Called CS this morning. My lightning with ETA 12/23-12/29 has been “released” to the shipping company. It’s at “Ramp 51” in flat rock. The hey are not sure why it hasn’t shipped. I’m only 2 hours from Flat Rock so crossing my fingers it gets on a truck today or tomorrow.

Thankfully someone went in my truck and accepted the FordPass invitation and now can see exactly where my truck is.

sweet! where are they showing it? Melvindale by chance? I've heard that if the truck is not on you won't see the location but I don't know for sure

us being a day apart could make sense with my theory of it exiting the train on our shipped dates ?. Maybe mine stayed on the train and headed south a little lol. You got off the train on the west side of jersey since I don’t think the train runs where it shows it in Lakehurst (on the map) anymore but idk.

She said the cash offer is covered by my signed contract we shall see tho
