2022 Lariat - Onboard scales say 650 pounds is in an empty truck?

It could potentially be wear on the springs, shocks don't support weight, they just dampen the springs so they don't pogo.

That is true too but I figure it would take a HELL of a lot of work to wear out springs.

I notice the same thing. I think theres a recalibrate option on Forscan, i dont recall 100%.

scale yes, vehicle payload graph no. im talking about the overall payload screen. the horizontal sliding scale one zero's every time you open it, or mine does anyway.

this isnt mine, but this is the screen im talking about My max is 1700.

IIRC this version is similar to what we rolled off the factory floor with in 2022.

Hmm good to know. I only picked my truck back in December so I'm not aware of what early versions looked like.
