Is this true? Does anyone with a 2022 or 2023 have pro power with truck off? I've been waiting for that since I got my truck. If true, I will be making an appointment with my dealer, like yesterday.
I have it. ALL the modules on my truck were updated in August or September while my dealership was troubleshooting a bad battery module. Once the required modules are updated you need to turn on the Sync toggle using ForScan. The process and requirements are outlined in the ForScan thread.

Yes many 2022’s have enabled it with Forscan. Your dealer will NOT do that part. And they likely won’t update your PCM for free either. See this post and ask any follow-ups there or on the Forscan thread.

I keep hearing there was an update to keep you in the drive mode you last were in (Sport for most of us) rather than having to reconfirm every damn time ya get in the truck. I havent had that yet, but would be damn grateful if it happened. One of biggest annoyance with a truck that I otherwise love.

I just used FORScan, along with the version 2 summary thread, to verify what I had on and to check for Pro Power with vehicle off.

Yes, I now have Pro Power Onboard with truck off enabled after making the FORScan change.

Thanks everyone for letting me know that it is now possible. That is the frustrating part of all of this. The work is already done to fulfil the promises they made but the expectation is for me to have to fight and jump through hoops to get it. That is not what I expect from a $100k+(CAN) purchase. I don't want to use Forscan on my truck until after the warranty is up but its great to know that I do have a path to get there now if Ford remains negligent.

Heads will roll if my dealer even brings up charging me to update modules for something their sales staff promised I would get. Since simply getting these modules updated won't get the toggle to show up, I'll wait just in case more updates are needed to get there. As far as I'm concerned, I should have 3 years of support on my truck. Like every other software company, that includes updates (ie. fixes to their code). If Ford can't even get that part right and think they can charge me for that, it will be a good bye from me.
