In your video I didn't see the lane keeping / centering icon on the dash bottom margin.

What is your configuration in the Driver Assistance menu?
I keep going in to see if something's been turned off or otherwise changed. It's on

In that third pic,I taped my parking permit to the back of the display. Is that blocking anything? It's been there for a couple weeks and hadn't interfered with blue cruise. But maybe that's the cause of the consistent blockage of the driver facing camera.

I read that there is a windshield facing camera somewhere. Where is it? I'll see if it's blocked.

Nothing is behind your parking pass that would be an issue.

Some more pics. My finger pointing to something that looks like a camera or sensor maybe for rain sensing wipers that don't work! That triangle under the Ford logo is another camera. Pic 2 and 3 are close up of what I was pointing at. Pic 4 and 5 are inside. I don't know what that is. Mic? Camera? Sensor if some sort. It's on the plastic trim on the windshield behind the mirror. Like a housing for all the wiring in there. Pic 6 shows the words "blue cruise " and I'm convinced fhere is more than just those IR emitters behind that shiney plastic. Pic 7 is just to show the EZPass tag. I removed that. Also used some glass cleaner once I got home to remove all the Rain-x I've applied. I love that stuff, but Ford says no, while many users say it helps BC to stay on more during crazy rain storms.

From the pics you have posted, it does not seem like any of the eye nanny or the front facing camera on the windshield is blocked by anything. The dealer will need to plug in and run some pin-point tests to see why that fault is popping up. If the system thinks the cameras are blocked, BC will not activate.

I think I found the blockage. I never knew there was a camera at the top middle of the windshield. This morning it was covered in dew. Like the hood is and the front camera in the grill that I have started remembering to clear in the mornings. I guess I gotta clear that each morning. I don't think the wipers reach up there but I'll check. But I'm sure the last few weeks (since I've owned the truck) there has been dew. I have never cleared that top middle camera before my morning commute.

BTW...there is no way to turn off the nanny-cams.....they are on all the time, even when you aren't using ADAS to assist you. I get warned sometimes about watching the road and I don't even have cruise control on...or for that matter I get warned to keep my hands on the wheel...when they're on the wheel already...and again the cruise control isn't even on. It's all because I leave the lane keeping on I suppose. But I'm used to it all now.

That's the funny thing. I have never got a "keep eyes on road" warning. I have seen "front camera blocked, please clean screen" pretty much every morning. Again, I was assuming only the front grill camera, not knowing there was another at the top of the windshield.

Heavy rain and snow will also affect hands free mode of BlueCruise.

💯 that’s one of the major downsides to ADAS suites such as Subaru’s Eyesight that uses the same cameras for ACC & LKA. Instead of how Ford has a radar module for the ACC & a windshield camera for the LKA.

But now that the truck has been pretty much locked out of blue crews (why does my phone keep misspelling this?) I'll just keep it to BC from now on! Anyway since I have not been able to even see any of the advanced driver assist features on the gauge cluster, I wonder if I need to have the codes cleared. I also wonder if I can do that with my old Bluetooth dongle and my phone. I know OBD2 is still a thing in EVs but I don't know how much stuff I can do with the dongles that I have and the apps that I use on my phone.

I'm reading new posts as I am typing this. Lka is Lane keep assist. I'm trying to figure out ACC... Also I am wondering about that little rectangle on the back of my rear view mirror. That is another sensor that I think @TaxmanHog mentioned

1. Rain sensor. When u have the stalk set to auto turn on when it detects rain… or embarrass u when u go into a car wash lol
2. The LKA camera.
The LKA camera & ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) module also work in conjunction for the AEB (Automatic Emergency Breaking)

Could be a light level sensor to adjust the brightness level of the dash and center screen, not certain about that, just a stab in the dark.
