What was your energy usage last year?

I don't see an easy way to get a report on the truck's annual usage. But, if you have the charge station pro, you can see what you charged at home:
Ford App --> Charging Tab --> Charge Station --> Insights --> Drop Down - Select Year --> Back arrow to 2025

You got me curious....

13,658 kWh home charging in 2025 which is easily obtainable from my Emporia app. Includes any climate and preconditioning use and is the amount of electricity delivered to the truck.

Additional unknown amount of DCFC and travel level 1 and 2 charging, both of which are more difficult to obtain data unless I actively tracked it, which I didn't. Probably 30 DCFC and about 15 level 1 or 2 charges while traveling.

Just under 34,000 miles for 2025. $0.0817/kWh for home electricity, average of $0.104/kwh with fees and taxes from the electricity bill included means roughly $0.042/mile, so I'll roughly round in the DCFC and take a wild guess that my total cost per mile (energy only) for 2025 was approx $0.06/mile, but this will invite the scientists/mathematicians/engineers of the forum to challenge my figures. Either way, I'm happy with the economics of the truck. Helps make the purchase price easier to swallow.

For reference, gas has hovered around $4.00+/gallon for most of the year in my area. Was almost $5.00/gal and is currently low at $3.75. This is just my observation of prices, again, nothing scientific or especially accurate about it.

My records for 2025:

16,727 miles, 7,721 kWh consumed,
$597 for 5,258 kWh AC (ave $0.114/kwh various locations)
$1,054 for 2.463 kWh DC (ave $0.438 incl 3 mo Tesla membership) from several 1k trips.

About 2.17 m/kWh and less than a dime per mile overall.

Over 31+ months of operation and about 30k miles we have consumed about 12,800 kWh from the battery while charging it over 600 times. I believe in small DoD cycles.

I do too much record-keeping for work, so I don’t do a good job of it at home.

2025:
The best I can do is use the total miles driven and divide by my average efficiency. We drove approximately 15,000 miles in 2025. The truck’s average efficiency is 2.4 miles/kWh. That’s about 6,250 kWh of energy.

In 2025, we did more than 23 road trips that required DCFC charging. A large fraction of those trips were more than 1200 miles round trip. This includes trips in the Mustang Mach-E, but the vast majority were done in the Lightning because the Lightning is far more comfortable.

Lifetime:
Total miles:
Lightning: 26,281 miles
Mustang: 53,245 miles
Total BEV driving since Feb 2022: 79,526 miles.

DCFC Sessions:
We recorded 152 DCFC sessions at EA, 51 at brand-T; 33 at ChargePoint; a dozen or so at EVGo; and a dozen or so combined at the smaller networks. We have more charging sessions at the top three networks that weren’t recorded. All-told, I would say we’ve charged around 300 times at DCFC chargers.

Home charging sessions: Too many to count. Just on the ChargePoint (Mustang), we have over 1000. I don’t have good records for the Lightning.

Road trip L2 charging sessions: At least 100.

Here’s a map of all of our road trips (since Feb. 2022); this also includes trips we took in the Mustang. Many of the routes shown here were driven multiple times.

🤣

If your posts are an example of not doing a good job at home, I'd hate to see what your good record-keeping at work looks like.

It’s a bit overwhelming. But doing science/technical space stuff kind of requires that.

According to Charge Station Pro it is 11,600 kWh. I had a bit of public charging too. Here is the house and truck combined.

I only charge at home from the Utility. My total miles since I purchased my 2023 Lariat 24,996. I pretty much use it locally, but take a few trips a year of about 200 miles round trip average. I keep a spreadsheet and document every charge since I bought it.

For year: 2025
Total kwh Charged: 4568.4
Total Cost: $754.35
Average Miles per kwh: 2.58
Total Miles: 10,970
Average MPGE: 87

Every time you post your rate of $0.373/kWh I throw up a little in my mouth 🤢.
It has been worse, mid June to July 2025 it was 41.1 cents a kWh 🤮🤮

You're the highest home energy user in the thread.

Wow. You got almost twice the home charging at a third less my electricity cost. And your gas is about twice what it is here now, $2/gal. Before the solar power discount, I'm about 20% lower cost than gas. You have about 3x the difference in electricity/gas rates ratio than near me.
