It’s been a month since I took my 2024 Platinum in for a Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power to the dealership. Apparently it’s a bad battery array.
5,000 miles on it.

That would be terrible news, good luck with it, and please keep us posted.

Shouldn't take that long. A week or less to get parts, 2 days to replace and balance battery.

Tech availability is definitely an issue. Likely he didn't look at it for 2 weeks. Then they order parts, they come in, he's busy again.

Yep that was my experience 15 months ago. Ford really needs to step up their game on this. I would have come unglued if I was without my truck for that long.

If you were in Ohio, you could demand a new truck or buyback under the Lemon Law. You might want to check Texas law.

I agree. It seems that the technician is very busy. It took just over two weeks for them to even diagnose.
I very much dislike the new mentality of the service departments. It used to be, schedule a date and we will try to diagnose that same day. Now its, give me your truck so it can start the queue. We might look at it a week or a month from now.

After the last module recall repair, my 2022 Lariat would only charge to 64%, weirdly it would indicate 100% charge until I turned the truck on, then instantly revert to 64%.

Koons Ford of Falls Church, VA diagnosed it as a bad array and said the repairs will be done by the end of the week, so five days total from troubleshooting to repairs complete. Fingers crossed!

Sorry for your battery problem. The 5 days sounds great for a module replacement!

After the last module recall repair,
Did you already have a module replaced? Also, did you get a letter from Ford about module recall 25S18?

I really hope by the end of the week your back in the truck!

2023 XLT SR with 35K miles. Morning of October 2, 2025 I got the Stop Vehicle Now message. Disconnecting negative terminal didn't clear it so it was towed to the local dealer. First they said it was the Gear Shift Module. Took a week to get it and that didn't fix the issue. Then not much of anything happened (a week or so?)Nearly two weeks later and I just found out it needs a "battery array assembly". Is that a battery module? I love the truck. All the outlets, the storage, the acceleration. But I'm fearful of this happening again. I've had other issues when I had to disconnect the battery terminal to get the truck "running" again. Would a battery array assembly be covered under the 8 year 100K warranty? Tomorrow will be a month without my truck...Annoyed. Disheartened. If I choose to get rid of the truck my wife already told me she'll murder me if I get another Ford. That makes me sad because I LOVE F150's. That's why I jumped on the Lightning when it was first announced.
